Argos Ipswich (Inside Sainsbury's)

That's the biggest joke of shop ever. Bought a lenovo tab and it was taking ages to upload pages and was keep blocking at 3GB/RAM and been refused to change the product. A peson from sales team(Laura) has tested" the product herself like she was an expert in this matter and said that's how a tab should work and refused to take the product back or even replace it so i actually lost my time

Bought a Bush Washer/Dryer costing £350 was really happy with the machine until it broke down 6 months later, it started smoking and could of set fire to my house but luckily I caught it in time! I have complained and told them this is a fire hazard but they are refusing to replace the machine and have sent a repair man to try and repair this one, he has been twice and logged both times unable to repair even though I would like it replaced as it's under warranty still! I have now been without a washing machine for 5 weeks and they are still saying they will have it repaired even though the part they THINK is broke is not in stock for the next 3/4 weeks so by then I will have been without a washing machine for 2 months! And it probably wont be fixed then as they don't even know what is actually wrong with it even though it's obviously the motor as it started smoking and smells burnt and the repair man has looked at the circuit board and said it looks fine but still going to replace that in 3/4 weeks when they eventually get it in stock! The Customer Service I am recieving is appalling and I would like to warn others! I will not be buying anymore appliances from Argos ever again and wish to warn everybody else to shop elsewhere if they want any decent sort of after service as Argos does not provide this.

Manager and staff ain't got a clue. Finally got my full refund via product safety. Plus this branch cost Argos £50 gift card, given for their incompetence in dealing with what should of been an easy refund. Avoid Upper brook Street branch in future

Bought a stroller to take on holiday and when got home and opened the ripped plastic wrap to find it had damage. Pics show the damage and one pic of how it should be on the other handle

Argos have gone from hero to zero. Ordered a laptop from their website on a click and collect on the same day. As soon as I ordered it the website said it was not in stock. I rang the store and got told it was in stock but I can't have it. I asked why? She couldn't tell me why. terrible store cancelled my order immediately. Shop elsewhere from now on

Absolutely ridiculous behaviour from the staff at this Argos store, We returned a toaster because of the colour and we were subjected to forensic like scrutiny! Trying to discover if the toaster had been used. Its comical that the person handling the return was on the floor, and at one point was on all fours sniffing the toaster for evidence it had been used. Whilst still trying to be professional, the lady was so unreasonable, it was comical. Clearly have nothing else better to do.

I ordered an oculus rift 3 headset from this place, had a fault with it so I tried to return it, just for them to tell me the serial numbers don’t match on the box and refused a refund or exchange, also they told me that even tho on the website it says 30days exchange or refund guarantee that the store can just say nope and refuse a return even if it was faulty like mine? So if the person solving it return has the slightest issue with you, you won’t be getting ur item returned since that’s what I got told, I get some people do this sort of stuff and swap things to get money however that oculus was the exact one they sold me! Then had the audacity to tell me to contact oculus as it’s “their fault and not Argos since the serial numbers don’t match”, Argos a retailer sold me a faulty product with the serial numbers not matching so its fraudulent and refused to help me because it’s impossible that they would make a mistake?! Joke of a store.

Absolute joke the manager of this store thinks she's a qualified IT technician trying to tell me my phone wasn't faulty she is rude and stuck up if I was the store I would fire her as soon as possible outcome is I still have a faulty phone and she's still got her job

Have got a wide variety. Almost all items are easily available. Service is quick.
