Best place I’ve ever stayed. The log cabins are well kept and have everything you’d need for a self catering holiday. The views are amazing as is the surrounding area. Will definately be back in the very near future.

PERFECT ❤Only word to describe our Lochend Chalet break. From the initial call to book our accommodation, to our departure, Victoria, Chris and the team were so friendly and helpful. We stayed in Teal Lodge. A beautifully decorated, fully equipped, spacious 3 bedroom, cosy, home from home.As you enter Teal and open the inner door the magnificent view of The Lake of Menteith is breathtaking. We were lucky to have amazing dry, sunny weather for February but I personally feel the views here would brilliant in any season.Also on site is Nick Nairns cook school and restaurant. We didn't have time to dine in restaurant (another great reason to return) but we enjoyed our takeaway Paul's Pizzas.There are loads of local attractions and activities in surrounding area for all the family. ME, I sat outside on the patio with my coffee and teacake reading my book, enjoying the wildlife, that stunning view. So peaceful.

A super set of 10 self-catering log cabins and a few more luxurious ones.All looking over the Lake of Menteith. Lots of outdoor activities nearby as well as a tennis court, games room, and canoeing / fishing / paddle boarding on-site.The friendly local ducks & play area make it perfect for families.

We've just come back from the most beautiful stay at Lochend. Couldn't have an asked for anything better, the most stunning location, helpful people and beautiful accommodations.Everything that you could need from a self catering accommodation allowing you to truly relax and enjoy your surroundings.Thank you to Topher and everyone at Lochend for creating such a beautiful place to stay. We'll definitely be back.

We stayed at Lochend Chalets for a week mid August to celebrate a big birthday. It delivered on all our expectations and more. It's a beautiful setting, the views from the chalets are stunning. The chalets we rented were very clean, comfortable and well equipped for our stay. Everyone in this family run business is very welcoming and friendly and go to great lengths to make sure you enjoy your stay. Lochend is a very special place. We highly recommend staying here and will definitely return.

A lovely place on the edge of the lake. I was in a wooden cabin, which was large, warm and well equipped. It faced the lake, and it was wonderful to watch the view change at different times during the day, as well as be entertained by the resident water fowl and wild birds. The kitchen has everything you could need, the bathroom looked relatively new and there was more than enough storage in the bedrooms.Its well placed at the edge of the Trossachs and close to Stirling, with lots of things to do around it which should suit all tastes. I would love to go back in the summer so I could visit the ruined abbey on the lake.The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, with great communication from the moment of booking until leaving.There is nothing negative I could think to say -

Lochend Chalets
We have had a wonderful stay in Osprey. Whilst it sleeps 6 we were a couple and it was truly marvellous. The bed so comfy, bath and shower to die for. We have travelled the world and stayed in amazing places but it is hard to beat the shower here! Views to die for. We brought our Canadian canoe and paddled from the door. We also brought our bikes and there is some great cycling in the area on and off road. The national park have really sorted out great cycling routes and oh not to forget the walking too. All of that aside sitting curled up on the sofa in a lovely warm luxurious chalet with a good book and watching the changing scenery is a must. Having Nick’s restaurant a 2 minute walk away was a real bonus and the food and service are great. We ate lunch and dinner, both excellent. The family who own and look after the site are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Would we come back …absolutely and would have no hesitation in recommending to others. Thank you for a truly memorable stay.
