The first pic (includes the photographer's boots) is Husseys' auction pic, the second / other pic is the pic taken on receipt of the same nail gun by me. Note that the gun will only sit in a specific position in the case.Regretfully I bought +40 items from Husseys at that particular auction and though I knew and accepted that some of the lots required substantial repair / cleaning etc .. with 1 or 2 exceptions I was extremely disappointed with the items I bought. Most of the power tools I bought have been scrapped already.I committed the cardinal sin of not inspecting the items before bidding but as I live 300 miles from Exeter it is nigh on impossible in these 'covid days' to travel / hotel etc. ( even so there is a cost element too), regardless I buy from auctions all over the UK and my business with Husseys ranks as my worst bit of business to date.

Sellers beware!Do not use this company, very unprofessional and no respect for their customers.I didn't sell some items at auction, so I was approached by someone who wanted to purchase some items. This purchase was after the auction not on the property of Husseys. The person buying the items then behind my back went and helped himself to more of my items and was never challenged by Olly and his team as to why! This is theft! Now Husseys have the audacity to blame me!

I’ve been using Husseys since the mid 80’s at 3 different sites and have never once had an issue. I’ve never known a car auction team been so helpful in every respect and the value for money here is second to none. I recommend anyone to go and check out any vehicle before bidding and bid accordingly. I’ve had some spectacular bargains from here over the years. Keep it up guys and here’s to the next 40 years!

No customer service at all... uncaring self centered people who only care for money... I won a lot on the site (1686) and then was unable to complete the purchase as I was unable to make the trip to collect the machine, may sound simple but as we had a family bereavement and had initially forgotten what time the payment time ended because of spending time away from home with the family... I then composed an email to them describing why I could not complete this purchase on the night that the payment was due a little time after it was due, I received no notification from them I missed one phone call from them as I was with the family when I then received information that I had been blocked from there site...when I had time later that evening I phoned back I was passed over to a man of who's name I can't remember he had nothing but uncaring words to say like that should not stop you collecting the item and we'll we blocked you there is nothing more we can do for you and lots more so rude and uncaring no customer service at all they could not care what circumstances you are in all they care about it themselves and the money.

Untidy, messy, chaotic, dirty yard and office, dead plants in the office. All in all not a memorable visit for all the right reasons. Lack of people skills by the woman who served us.

Very Deceitful Auction I purchased a mini cooper D a couple months ago listed and also shown driving around the yard no engine lights on display, when the car arrived the engine light was on and even worse the car they had been driving around the yard with the clutch was completely gone with the dual mass flywheel, Warning if you think its cheap and considering online auction don't they will only say typical you will have to spend money on a vechile at auction. however they won't tell you simply and clearly engine knocking or clutch wornI hope this helps anyone

Awful experienceI came up with my friend who was selling marquees and the service was awful.Olly was not interested at all from the beginning.All marquees and accessories went to auction, some didn’t sell on the day.2 of the ones that did not sell, were removed from the yard and sold away from the premises. No deal was made on/ while on the premises as Olly has stated in another review.Shortly after the 2 were sold, the person buying, illegally went back to the premises and stole items from other marquees that were unsold. This person was not challenged upon arrival and helped himself. My friend didn’t receive any phone calls from Husseys as to why the person was there taking my fiends items. The person was not entitled to take any other items as they were not his property.Apparently after a conversation that Olly had with the buyer, the buyer said that some items were missing or damaged. This however was not the case as 3 of us checked everything over 3 times and all items were present and damage free. This had nothing to do with Husseys anyway, as I have already stated this was a private sale away from Husseys premises.A resolution should have been made as the buyer was not challenged and he had no right to remove anything he had not purchased.Husseys will not admit that they are in the wrong.My friend did not receive any communication from the person taking the other items as Olly stated.Everything that was written under the other review is not the truth.I would not trust this company at all.Buy or sell at your own peril!!!!

Brilliant place for that unusual item from cars to tractors to a garden fork or a wooden giraffe

As a car dealer I have used Husseys to sell part-exchanges for me many times. The process is quick and straightforward and the pay outs are prompt. Very satisfactory all round service.
