He didn't give us the typical speech on how to have photos set up, instead he was honest and captured photos naturally instead which in all honesty is so much better.His stories and charisma had everyone in stitches and generally made everyone at ease. We booked Avi and his team for our wedding and cannot rate him highly enough. I saw Avi at the Apex wedding fayre in Bury St Edmunds and it was a whole other love story that played out, classic movie trope! My eyes were drawn by a photo of a bride in a bathtub, from across the crowded room, and in that instant I knew that akexpressions had to be the photographer not only for my wedding day, but also for the rest of my life.From the minute I made my way over to the stand I was hooked. There was no other option, I didn't couldn't even look at another photographer's work, and this level of snobbery unfortunately continues to this day. Avi has a way of capturing the raw essence of a moment perfectly, as it is, nothing fake or cheesy or staged, just you and your partner as you are. That beauty is immortalised and that is the best gift anyone can ever give to you.My husband and I are not really 'photo people' and as such couldn't see ourselves doing a pre wedding shoot. So me being me, asked for something a little different and Avi was more than happy to accommodate a boudoir session where he took me so far out of my comfort zone I don't think I'll ever get back into it. Again, he captured me, flab and all, exactly as I was,b liberated me and gave me the confidence to tell a crazy Canadian to f*** off and in doing so, dropped my guard and let myself, the real me, show. Not a fake, scared little girl in front of a man with a giant camera and a bit of lace, but the woman I was inside all along.On the wedding day he was a godsend! From flower arranging tips and capturing those special moments in the lead up to the ceremony, to subtly avoiding photographing certain stepmothers and other guests that you don't necessarily want but have to have at a wedding, to ensuring that my husband and I got time alone together. The whole team was beyond amazing.Then the photos came after a wait that wasn't long but felt like an eternity. My god, were they worth it. I've never seen anything quite like it. Choosing which ones to put in the album (the heftiest book I own) was painstaking, and again, Avi was there to lend advice and ensure that we were making our wedding album purely about us and not who we thought should be in it.I have maintained contact with Avi for the past 4 and a half years, which I don't think many people can say about their wedding photographer and I am always excited to see his work, because I know that when those couples look back on their wedding day in years to come, they will remember it as Avi picked it out through his lens, the unabridged truth and joy of the day. And that is why he is the best. Enough said.

We were delighted with Avi - he was incredibly organised and the whole experience was well planned. Having the pre-shoot was a real bonus - in fact, we were pleasantly surprised what great value it was considering the end quality of our photos and the fact we received a USB stick at the end as some photographers choose the charge for the latter. Avi is really good fun as well and always joking which put everyone at ease on the big day, however don't let his amusing persona distract from his professionalism for he takes his art seriously and being a well seasoned pro, is reliable to a tee.
