I cannot fault the excellent tailored service, consistent attention to detail and expert advice that Paul and the team provide.Establishing a good rapport with the customer is a priority at Hounds, I always feel welcome and included in conversation… The quality complimentary coffee helps too!The finished barber-work is reliably of an excellent standard and the guys are always keen to suggest personalised consultation and tweaks throughout.The atmosphere, vision and style of Hounds has an identity that I enjoy and it’s great to see a local business grow and mature over the years.I always look forward to a visit to Hounds and I’m a customer for life.Keep up the good work guys!

Being a lady of a certain age I was somewhat nervous of using the services of Master Barber, Paul, to re-style my fading cut...Wow, Wow, Wow! How wrong was I to be unsure!Entrusting Paul was the best decision my daughter ever made for me!I was greeted by a lovely young man, Joe, who took my coat, offered me coffee, washed my hair, put me at ease & showed me to my chair.Paul introduced himself and listened intently to everything that I was hoping he would be able achieve.Paul did not disappoint as I left with the biggest smile, so very pleased with my finished cut. A first for a very long time.Hounds has a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere, it's clean & tidy with friendly staff.Would I go back to a ladies hair salon?....Not on your nelly! ;-)

Popped in today for a trim. Don't live in Newport anymore but occasionally pop back to see friends and family.Loved the Feel of the place. Liam did my hair and he was really nice. Really attentive and talked me through things as he went. All the staff seem really close and care about the business which makes all the difference.Wish them all the best and might pop back if I'm in the area again and need a trim.

I love this place.The staff are friendly and welcoming, I rarely ever have to wait, the atmosphere is very relaxed, and as an added bonus the music is usually great

This isn’t just a pop up barbers. This is a true barbering experience produced by masters. The level of service is exception, the quality of barbering is world class and this matched with the unique classy & relaxing decor makes this a fantastic experience. I’ve been away from the area for a year, this is one particular home comfort I have missed the most. Appointment booked, time to get my hair back to what it was before I left. See you soon, Tyler
