Bought a 2012 Ford focus from these guys , lovely motor , description from the ad was spot on , fresh service for pick up , after a couple weeks notices a woo'ing noise from the wheel bearing , call them up and was sent to specified garage who confirmed the drivers side bearing was on its way out , spoke to guy at ata cars who said it wasn't covered under the warranty but ever so kindly had it replaced out of his own pocket , there are a couple of other niggley bits like interior light doesn't come.on when unlock door or turn engine off and bluetooth doesn't work but neither of these effect the car so will sort that myself , over all I would say my experience has been a pleasant oneGreat serviceAlways quick response

Do not make the same mistake I did and trust this dealer.In September I bought a Mercedes C250cdi from this dealer and is by far the worst car buying experience I have had. After a 3.5 hour drive I arrived at the dealership to a car that was advertised as very good condition with full service history and 12 months MOT. All was false but in my desperation I made the mistake of not checking the service history properly and procuring the vehicle later to discover it hadn’t been serviced for 35000 miles prior to the service they had undergone and it was overdue a gearbox oil change by 40000 miles. Other things they failed to mention to me were the rear tyres although with tread were so old and perished they leaked air through the side walls needing to be replaced and it was missing a daytime driving light, this was just the start of my problems.On returning home on the car went into limp mode and shown a low fuel pressure fault code so I began my journey back to the dealership, they said to me they had just changed the fuel pressure sensor which was true but in his words “they may have not done it properly and not fitted the new sealing ring”, they reset the fault code and sent me off again only for it to happen once again, I returned the car to his recommended garage. After waiting 3 hours for them to ‘fix’ it I was told they would need to keep the car and I travelled my long journey back in a courtesy which had barely any lights working and low tread flat tyres. After they delivered the car a week later I started to notice a metallic rattle on cold start up which is a common fault with these cars if they haven’t been serviced properly (feel free to google c250cdi cold start rattle), it needed a new timing chain. I spoke to the dealership and explained to them I didn’t want to travel all that way with a rattling timing chain as if that fails a car of that value is effectively a write off plus the Mercedes specialist advised it would need a tensioner, timing chain and sprockets if I wanted it to last. They said they would only change the tensioner and wanted to get it done cheap. I also had no confidence in the garage they wanted to get to do it as the original fuel pressure issue they said was fixed is currently still ongoing. We came to an agreement that they would cover some of the costs for me to get it done at a garage I trust closer to home, on receipt of the £1450 invoice they then said they will not be covering any of the costs but I can try the warranty. I am yet to do this but seeing as it is unsigned by them, past the warranty period and doesn’t fall within the parameters of the warranty I can’t imagine they will help. The incorrect warranty information wasn’t given to me until after the car was booked in for the work and they stated the warranty wouldn’t help for this.To summarise since having the car I have had to:1. Have the engine out to change timing chain2. Replace all 4 tyres3. Gearbox oil change4. Replace the daytime driving lightsOngoing issues:1. Fuel pressure issues on long journeys2. Needs 4 new disc brakes advised by Mercedes during a recent airbag recall3. Some times doesn’t start due to a faulty electronic steering issueDon’t make the same mistake I did and rush into buying a used car.

Was going to buy a car off them. Phoned them, as I was 300 miles away. Said I'd take the car over the phone, they confirmed it was mine and I said Id be travelling down by train the next day. Made it clear I was travelling a long way and was buying my ticket for my train. The next day I board my non stop train to London, give them a text to say I'm on my way, and the responded to tell me someone turned up the night before to buy it. Not even a courtesy call or text to tell me it's gone. I found out on my way down. And not even an apology. Thanks guys. I would not recommend to anyone
