Over The Yardarm Bar & Kitchen
Had our Christmas party in the private room upstairs for 40 people, great night was had by all. Lovely room, food was amazing and the bar staff were great. The Cocktails were fabulous and went down a treat. Great communication and very easy to book and arrange, would highly recommend. A big thank you to Alife for your all your help in organising the night. Will definitely return.

One of our firm faves on abbeydale road this new addition didn't disappoint. Delicious drinks and even better food! Amazing mezze boards, home made nachos and fried cheese balls - incredible.This bar is spacious and has a lovely balcony out front. It also has a function room for hire upstairs. We visit the bar often, and love the food, drink and friendly staff. It therefore made sense for us to hire the upstairs bar for a private family event and it was the perfect venue for our occasion. Alfie and the team were professional and communicative, both before our party in terms of advising on access times, food, music and decor, and on the night itself, checking we had everything we needed.There's lots of flexibility in terms of music, drinks choices, food packages and start/end times, and OTY couldn't have been more accommodating in terms of us setting up and decorating. They are a pleasure to work with - thank you so so much :)

I hired the upstairs for a surprise 30th birthday for my partner. The venue was perfect and the food was lovely. Alfie was great his communication was fab and nothing was too much! We will definitely be back!

We had our engagement party at overtheyardam honestly it was such an amazing event because the staff were so attentive. Its a good size and having a private bar is a great feature. They helped make our day special i would highly recommend ✨

We used the venue for a significant birthday celebration. From an organisation perspective, the experience was made very easy by Alfie who was very accommodating to our requirements. We had a great time with friends and family are the bar staff were very attentive and friendly.

I recently held a surprise 30th birthday at the venue in the upstairs bar area. It was the perfect setting for the night, the staff were helpful and friendly, in particular the manager. I was able to decorate the room with balloons etc no issues at all.I would highly recommend booking this venue for your next event.

We had a brilliant time as we hired the bar upstairs for a birthday celebration. Alfie and his team were accommodating, friendly and welcoming. Communication was spot on and we didn’t hesitate booking. The place itself is modern and very inviting. We didn’t have food but the bar has a great selection of drinks. Would recommend this place for sure. Thanks guys for all your efforts. We will definitely return.Bonus for the dog lovers -it is dog friendly! :)

I hired the upstairs space at Over the Yardarm for my 40th birthday. The space was great with our own bar and bar person. The food was excellent. Alfie was so helpful in booking and sorting the food order too. I would highly recommend hiring this space for a party or get together!
