My sons clutch broke on Saturday and he was towed to Edgar’s hoping to be seen Monday 8.30 when open. The best service I’ve ever known …. the part was ordered and in by 11.30 and they were back on the road Monday afternoon to Manchester. THANK YOU so much!

Went to see these guys as we are travelling Scotland in our camper which started to make a strange noise. Guy in the shop took a look and reassured us nothing to worry about and didn't charge a penny despite us offering payment. Really friendly staff and very happy to help. Definitely recommend if you're in the area and need some mechanical help.

The best Garage in Fort William I've used slipway autos before a macanic on a hommer still 270 quid without the parts I had a problem with my catering van gearbox we couldn't reverse so on the day we couldn't so we pulled up in the Ben nevis industrial estate beside another garage to ask them for advice about it the macanic right away siad it was a new gearbox without putting it up on the ramp in the end I took the keys of him he siad I was looking at 500 to 2 grand at the the time I didn't know where edgers was so the van was taken back to my house by a friend who siad it wasn't a gearbox ether so eventually I traced where edgers was my step Dad Aky goes to me you know who's good scot Edger and his old man Bager honest hardworking and fair guys and that's exactly the service I reacived went up to Edgar's when I found it spoke to Scott about the problem scot eliminated it was a new gear box he came over to my house and siad he will need to get it on the ramp to make sure in the end it was a linkinkage reverse cable and a new windscreen moater which I had recently purchased I've also had one missing out van to!!before I took the keys off the other garage to scot and bager provided me an excellent service the most honest macanics iv ever came across the whole time I've owned the van lovely nice guys and will try to save you money as much as possible scot and bager and staff will not rip you off nice guys the best service drove my van to their garage and returned it to me after the mot passed by jenny from clansman with no advisres can't fault scot and bager all I can say it best Garage in Fort William for any repairs to your vehicle but one thing I will say Nevis mots don't go near go to scot and bage at Edgar's autos opposite lbs building supplies and behind the laundry there the best thanks guys you've saved me a few grand

Lovely guy,I think he was the owner, I am 600 miles from home on a road trip,my car was making scary noises ,and I saw Edgar's garage 5 miles away , he was fully booked till next Friday, but he went out of his way and took the time to take my car for a road test and diagnosed the issue..thankfully it wasn't a major problem and the peace of mind he gave me was priceless .Thankyou

I visited this garage because I was worried about a rattle noise before heading on holiday. The mechanic was friendly and very efficient he diagnosed the noise and reassured me that it would be ok to continue on to Oban and have car repaired after trip. I couldn’t recommend them enough. Super garage!
