Acorn Guest House

We loved our stay in Acor guest House. The room was beautiful, very scottish and very clean. We had the best shower of our entire trip there. The breakfast was delicious. Our host took time to talk with us and share great visit tips. This was highly appreciated. We highly recommend you to stay there. Thank you.

An incredible welcome in a house so beautifully decorated in pure Scottish style! It is very well placed for walking into the city centre. The bedding is very comfortable. The breakfast is divine: the best porridge eaten! We played chess in the pleasant living room, what happiness with this beautiful game table. We recommend with our eyes closed and we will come back with great pleasure. Thank you very much for these two nights!

We really enjoyed our stay at Inverness. Liz was very helpful with local information, the room was excellent, with a great cooked breakfast. Guests have a private lounge with t.v. and board games provided. We were able to walk into town for dinner. We look forward to returning.

My friend June and I had a fabulous time in Inverness. Rooms were very clean. Location is central to town, yet far enough away for peace and quite. Liz provided excellent service. The food was great. We hope to visit again in the future!

Out of 42 nights and 19 different accommodations on our UK tour, this one was an absolute standout! Yes, the location suited us being an easy walk in to the city centre and even better only 300m to where we had to meet a tour one morning - the off-street parking meant the car was safe and not needed. Yes, the room was delightful and very clean & comfortable (I got to tick off sleeping in a 4-poster bed) but these still weren't the highlights.The welcome and contact with Liz all through the stay was outstanding. You feel like you have come to visit an old friend, the welcome is so warm and easy-going. I wish we had known this prior and I would have stayed longer just to feel so relaxed and at-home for a few more days.Thanks again for your support Liz and I hope you finalise your travel plans and get to where you want to be!! Very comfortable, clean and well appointed. We loved our breakfast options, and the host is very accommodating and attentive. We stayed in a twin room, the beds were very comfortable, the amenities were great (shampoo was the only item that we needed, that wasn't provided). I would recommend staying her for sure!

Liz was the most welcoming host, she couldn't have been any better lots of useful information about the area. Stag room was lovely. We had a three night stay, could have stayed longer. Will definitely be visiting again

My daughter, niece, and I loved our stay at The Acorn House. Our hostess, Liz, was friendly, a wonderful conversationalist and very helpful. She was also a fantastic cook. Her sausage was the best we had during our trip. Our room was perfect for us and we loved the Highland Cow decor! We were able to walk to so many places from the house When I get back to Inverness, I hope to stay there again.
