We agreed a visit to the shop within two days and were reassured by the way in which Terry dealt with us on the day. I found this company on the internet as i wanted to sell some old UK coins as part of an estate sale. The company was very efficient in providing a price after i sent across images of the coins. After posting the coins the money was in my Bank account the same day. Happy to recommend!!

Terry and the team at Dorset Coins are really great to deal with. I sold my coins to them and after a very reasonable valuation was given a deal was completed. I found Terry easy to communicate with, honest in his appraisal and speedy in the payment. I tried many more dealer before Terry but found them difficult to communicate with or they were requiring me to jump through hoops to get a valuation; this was not the case with Terry. I bought an item off this company through Ebay, they sold me some pound notes which were described as perfect condition, upon arrival these notes were no where near perfect condition. When I challenged them about the condition they became quite rude and blamed me for buying through the app via my mobile phone, they said that had I used a laptop the description of the notes was different to what was shown on a mobile device, if that is true then surely they should have ensured that the description on both mobile and laptop devices read the same. After leaving negative feedback on their ebay selling site the owner, Terry parsons sent me a message, which in fairness was apologetic and offered to resolve the issue, however, at that point I had a loss in the family and everything took a back step which therefore lead to me not replying, the ebay issue became unimportant. Terry, the owner then sent the same message again, again I did not reply due to me grieving the loss of a loved on. A few days later Terry then sent a most aggressive message about my conduct on Ebay and why I refused to answer his message. I replied telling him that I had a loss in the family and that the whole matter had took a back step. I have now just noticed this guy has left me negative feedback on my ebay account accusing me of being aggressive and argumentative, and abusing the ebay system.What a horrible man this Terry parsons is, you should be ashamed of your self. After reading the reviews on here it doesn't surprise me in the slightest in the way he has responded and acted regarding this situation. Please be wary of this man and his staff at Dorset coin company, they are not a pleasant bunch of people at all. Once they have your money, their customer service goes out the window.

I had a large collection of British and World coins that needed to be reviewed and valued. Terry took time to understand the requirements from the first call, ask for a sample of coin sets to value them remotely to give me an idea of their assessments vs. competitors, followed by a visit to their offices in Dorset.I found Terry to be an expert in his field and fair in his dealings. He reviewed each set and agreed a fair price. At the end, funds were paid the same day whilst some of the competitors would have taken a week to pay after an initial payment.He also recommended a local fish & chips which was delightful. All in all, a very pleasant trip to Poole and I would highly recommend Dorset Coins and Terry specifically.

I needed two coins as a gift. Lee was able to talk me through the choices within my price range and provided expert knowledge enabling me to make an informed purchase. I chose to collect them rather than have them delivered. We agreed a time and date. The appointment went without a hitch, and Lee could not have been more polite. I would certainly be happy to use them again.
