Broomhill Practice

We moved to this GP in July 2017 and the experience in the past months have been fine. The Practice has online booking system which is so much easier to use than making phone calls to the reception. All the doctors’ profiles and skills can be found online so we know who to go to for a certain condition. The GP also has a computer for patients to check in themselves on arrival. The waiting room has plenty seats and a toy for kids. Information about who to go to which room is displayed on the LED message machine with a beep as an alert. The toilet facility is friendly for families as there is a changing table and paper towel for drying hands.

Useless, rude and down right dangerous. The receptionist is a compulsive liar and a certified sociopath who seems to delight in patients being in pain and in urgent need of care. As for the doctors themselves (if you can even all them that) I have never come across people in the medical industry who could care less than them about patients. Its medical practices like this that make me question why we even bother to pay tax to the NHS. They are literally just collecting a wage for doing nothing.On a side note, I suspect strongly that the positive 5 star reviews for this practice are fake. Look at the accounts that made them very closely. I am considering taking legal action against this practice, the receptionist and the doctor for obvious medical negligence.

Despite the bad reviews people have posted I've found this doctors practice to be very practical and friendly! Found it easy to get phone appointments and an in person appointment when needed. My doctor was really lovely and I am very happy with my service and care! Thanks everyone

I have been with this surgery for over 12 years. In this time I have seen a lot of changes here and changes of staff. I have always found the doctors here very approachable, welcoming and understanding ( including locum's). I have not had much dealings with nurse's, so not in a position to comment on them.The reception team have changed a few times with one or two who remained the same, this is where this practice falls down. Some are excellent whilst other's are either not good at their job or not happy in it. Either way some work needs to be done in the reception team. They are the of the practice and sadly let this otherwise great practice down.

Despite the recent pressures I have found the receptionist and medical staff at Broomhill to be very helpful and efficient. Have never had to wait long for an appointment. Have been offered face to face when clinically appropriate. Delighted with their service and to be their patient.

The doctors have always been helpful and kind however the reception staff are not so consistent.I phoned to ask if a Dr had left a letter for me, without checking the receptionist said no and to phone later. I phoned back later in the morning and got someone else, they checked and the letter had been at reception for 24 hours.Not sure if its laziness or negligence but it wastes patients time and creates more work for their colleagues

Three time tried to call the practice, no answer , went there just drinking coffee , they laughing at patients. This people shouldn't be working there. Don't try to phone the practice they don't answer , they found way to ignore patients , just go directly there ,you won't see anyone work or any patients in waiting room . I have visited medical centers once or twice a year since 2014 , they all say we are extremely busy but when you go there there is no one not a single person in waiting room to see doctor . It's failure ,because there is no questions and no inspection .

The doctors are lovely and very helpful! They explain my conditions very well. I always get a fast response whenever I reach out to the practice and they give me best medications and consultations accordingly.
