Becky did the nost fantastic job fixing my wedding dress that had been botched up by a previous seamstress. It looked amazing on and I got so many compliments on the day. I really cannot thank her enough!!

Always late. I have taken stuff here twice to be altered and both times I recieved a text message on the day of collection saying it will not be ready.Then, my friends wedding dress was ruined by the seamstress here so I will not be using this shop again.

This little shop in the St. George's Quarter of Chorley is well stocked & situated in a great location. There is disabled parking very close, less than 5 minutes walk/ride in wheelchair. The range of products & the value for money are excellent. The staff are very helpful and will order things in, if they are out of stock. An independent business well worth visiting!

I have just been let down at the weekend by the company doing my wedding dress alterations. With 5 weeks to go til my wedding I was very worried but after already doing the alterations for my bridesmaids, The Buttonhole were my first call. Straight away they offered to fit me in the very next day... in the evening too, to accommodate for my working. That's the customer service and kindness that will have me recommending The Buttonhole to anyone I know. Thank you!! X

Really friendly little shop, I had a bit of a disaster with a coat of mine where the buttons kept coming loose, I called and asked of they did repairs (after attempting to do it myself several times....) and took it in the same day, they not only put the 2 buttons back on but made sure the rest weren't going to come off later as well. Great shop, fantastic value for money.

Absolutely shocking, would not recommend.I had two dresses I needed adjusting, the first was a wrap dress that went a little too high up the leg for my liking so I just simply needed it to be sewed down a little. The second dress just wanted bringing in little at the waist.See images attached of the first dress, I still cannot believe how bad of a job this was, for a start she didn’t even sew it all the way from the top and the stitching is not straight at all, looked like a 5-year-old did it!The second job again shows how badly the stitching was and she only did it on one side of the dress which made it uneven.She charged be £30 for this as well!!!! Normally I go to a place in Preston and she charged me £10 to adjust 4 dresses but had recently stopped her alteration business which is why I went to this place.We had also arranged for me to pick them up 2 weeks later on the Wednesday as I needed the dresses done for the Saturday, they had plenty of time to do these small jobs and I received a text on Wednesday saying that they were not ready yet and would only be ready on Saturday!I ended up spending more on the dress alterations than the actually dresses themselves in the end!

I have received a very poor service recently when I made arrangements with Buttonhole to make a dress for a very special occasion. The dress had to be taken to another seamstress to be completed on the very last minute & this cause immense stress. I informed Buttonhole of the problems with the dress & I experienced very poor customer service. The new seamstress made a fantastic job of repairing the disaster & compiled a lengthy list of the alterations she had made to my dress to make it wearable for the special day.
