Had to put one star just as bad as Newport housing two builders out took them 3 days to do one wall been out since 8.30am done hardly any work keep going to the van to scroll on their phones call up pobl but of course can get any done as they act like they known more than you so love calling them to be spoken down to

Absolutely slum landlords I am not a tenant but have visited several of their properties conditions are disgustingtenants waiting year's to have repairs done most of which are never completed or are of a poor standard no support for valuable tenants and half the time they have no clue what they are doing

Absolutely atrocious service the trades team are unable to do a job properly or attend at the time they arrange and their phone number has been down for 2 weeks so it's impossible to contact them

Doesn't deserve 1 star!Our 1 bedroom has a bad issue with black mould in the one corner of the room during the winter and rainy days, right down from the ceiling to the floor the whole corner is damp - the walls are wet to the touch. No amount of air circulation helps and the window is never shut to try to help it air dry.Pobl sent 2 very rude, chav type guys to have a look. Was told when booking the appointment would take around 4hrs as they would do an extensive search and check of the property for any leaks.As soon as the guys were through the door they started murmuring about condensation and air circulation, despite me repeatedly telling them there is definitely a leak in the roof.They spend 5 minutes looking at the damp, saying the same thing, they then spend less than 5 minutes looking on the roof from the outside and in the attic. Nope, they said, its only condensation, I explain how it's only in the 1 corner wall, how the window is always open and they are fobbing me off. THEY SAID IT IT COULD EVEN BE CAUSED BY BREATHING!!!! They say if it continues and I complain, pobl will only send them back anyway!An absolute pair of jokers, taking the p*ss they were!I had a search up the attic myself about a week later and there's daylight coming in through the roof right in the same corner above the bedroom!!Pobl doesn't care that their properties require repairs - they leave tenant's to sort it themselves, only care about the rent and profits

Got many dangers that need repaired and they havent fixed it despite promising to. Mould issue that wont go regardless of what i try, ive tried bleaching, i use plenty of ventilation even painted over it several times only for it to come through the paint. Ive lost hundreds of pounds, replacing carpet, furniture, bedding and curtains.. on top of that ive had several trips to the doctors of being ill, hallucinations and migraine attacks! Which my doctor thinks it maybe related to the mould. Joke of a landlord company.

Ive been with them 5 months. Always helpful and any repair has been fixed within 24hrs. My house is safe and secure and so is my peace of mind. Friendly staff and lovely home. 1 star lost as it can be challenging getting them on the phone and most things are automated. I prefer to speak to people than do everything online

Treated differently before me and my boyfriend are gay. Spoken to like a peace of muck on the floor. Left there feeling like I was nothing but a peace of dirt on the floor and was excused of abusing my boyfriend which has never been anything has ever thought about us before. Pure homophobia and said we would have to wait 6 years even though we both live in my tiny bedroom in my parents house due to boyfriend being made homeless. Do not recommend they don't help at all and will make you feel like your going crazy.

Terrible. I live in an upstairs flat and the boiler stopped working and developed a leak. Pobl had an answer message saying they would not pick up calls for five days.I went through Delta Wellness who didn't pass on messages to PH Jones. In the end as I was worried about the leak affecting my neighbour downstairs and had no heating or hot water in December for five days I had to go to my MP who was brilliant. PH Jones were brilliant too and horrified when I explained.My neighbour has been very noisy since moving in a few months ago. Again, no reply from Pobl. I've contacted my MP again.It's a shame to see so many similar experiences on here. Please contact your MP to get any matters resolved as Pobl do nothing.
