First visited 2 years ago on a trip to York and found the food to be exquisite and the best Indian we’d ever tried! ( And there have been many!)2 years on and we’ve eaten here twice in 3 days. I feel that speaks for itself! The food quality is amazing and the service impeccable. Takes Indian cuisine to a whole new level!Friendly accommodating staff and atmosphere.Wish we had such a great restaurant at home in Wales.Just hoping to visit again on our next York trip!

One of the best Indian food in the City of York, absolutely amazing. It beats most of the good Indian Restraunts from London.Right next to Castle Tower and close to river Ouse, this is a must go if you like Indian food.We had Chicken Lahori, Paneer Khurchan, Kakori Kebabs and few other items. They did pretty well with the breads and basmati rice too. Getting good food after a long day of touring York is a bonus. Must go!

The worst Indian place one can imagine of. The portions, taste and the rates are third class even the staff is rude and not at all friendly. Wouldn't recommend visiting this place.

If you a great tasting curry then I would recommend this place, food was excellent, even the way they do there naan is great. The female waitress was very friendly and the service was spot on, and no rush to get us to leave. Only one small criticism would be the male waiter didn't really smile or engage with the customers.We will be returning.

Food is amazing here,Chicken lahori was wonderful with naan. No need to look any further if you are looking to have good Indian food In York.Could have been wonderful if it was a little more cleaner.
