It was truly such a pleasure utilizing Nomadic for my Scotland adventure. I can’t imagine have a better experience having gone with any other outfit. Michael was incredibly responsive, kind and just generally a pleasure to chat with. Even gave me a lift back into town after so I could catch my bus back to Glasgow. This is a very belated review, but we had SUCH a fantastic trip to the Scottish highlands back in September, which was a birthday gift to my husband who has always wanted to go.The setup from Nomadic Scotland could not have been more perfect for what we were looking for!As we were only going for 4 nights, it was the perfect way to see all of the places we wanted to see without a faff of trying to find hotels etc which are far and few between.Not to mention how much of a fun adventure it was! To have the flexibility was ideal. The tent was so easy to setup, and Michael provided some brilliant instructions and tips which massively helped.Not to mention the van had everything we needed, so all we had to do was a food shop and we were good to go. The defender was easy to drive and added a fun element of the trip.We had the most incredible time, and have had so many people asking us about the trip. I couldn’t recommend Nomadic Scotland more! Thank you to Michael and the team, I’m sure we would love to do it again one day!

I booked a discovery with Nomadic Scotland for a 6 night adventure around the Scottish North Coast 500 and I could not have asked for a better service !The car, equipment and tent were all of the highest standard! Absolutely spotless ! Unique and memorable experience driving and camping with a defender and roof tent. The defender has huge personality and the wild camping made easy with pop up tent and great kit.Michael was so helpful and his instructions on how to drive clear, I felt confident to head out to the wilds of west of Scotland to explore.

The best trip we could have hoped for. The roof tent is the most comfortable tent I have ever slept in (including glamping setups). The car was spotlessly clean, was packed with everything you could need and Michael was an absolute gent who genuinely wants his customers to have an unforgettable experience. It may be expensive compared to other companies that do similar trips but it is worth every single penny and will 100% be going back again to explore further afield.

Amazing service and equipment!We had a great time over four nights exploring Scotland in a stunning Defender, the car was immaculate and all the equipment was top spec and easy to use. The Nomadic Scotland team were all very helpful, even with my silly questions.Would highly recommend!

I just loved, loved my 10 days in Scotland with my Nomadic Discovery. The car actually felt like mine and I really didn't want to give her back. An enormous thank you to Michael and Sam for everything.I was so impressed with the state of the vehicle exterior, the cleanliness of the interior and how well equipped the camping pack was. Everything I needed, and nothing I didn’t.Many companies are great to deal with pre-sale, but the service and care provided by you and Sam continued through to vehicle pickup, during my trip (thank you for the weather updates!) and even after I’d dropped the vehicle off.Looking forward to returning. No better way to travel Scotland.

We had a fantastic trip with Nomadic Scotland. Land Rover and equipment gave us the ultimate nature experience of this beautiful country.

The best. We cannot recommend Nomadic Scotland and the service provided by Michael any higher than by simply saying they’re the best. We enjoyed the most incredible week in one of Michael’s Land Rover Defenders, travelling from Crieff all the way to the Outer Hebrides and back. Communication, even from before we made the booking, was incredibly prompt and informative. This continued all the way through to collecting the keys, being shown the vehicle/tent and then throughout our trip. We feel very fortunate to have had the most amazing week in Scotland, with great weather and fantastic food. We can’t wait to come back and do it all again.
