A great dojo with competent, friendly instructors: no McDojo, this one. Even better, one mat fee in the month covers training for all disciplines! Come for the Jitsu, stay for Aikido, Karate, Judo, etc. at no further monthly cost! What more could you ask for?

We are members two years now.

A great, clean, tidy dojo. Shower facilities, toilets and changing areas. There is a high level of skill within the trainers and they all offer great lessons for children at all levels. My boys attend the Saturday and Monday Karate sessions and have come on so well in 7 months. Both earning trophies in the competitions this weekend. I can't recommend Ichiban and it's team enough.

I highly recommend ichiban dojo. Since attending I’ve met some amazing people and had some great times.I hadn’t attempted any form of martial arts prior to attending and found the environment to be very welcoming, friendly & encouraging.My fitness and mobility levels have improved massively since joining, I’ve found the staff to be passionate, knowledgeable, patient and enthusiastic.I’d encourage anyone to come to ichiban and try out the different styles of martial arts offered to see which suits you. Improve your fitness levels, have fun, meet new people and gain self defence skills in the mean time!

I have attended all classes within one week. Aikido, iaido, karate and judo. Every single lesson is taught with enthusiasm and it is obvious that there is an in depth knowledge of the subject being taught. The dojo is excellently run, keeping traditional etiquette without being too officious. The staff are very friendly and great effort is made to make a new starter feel very welcome. I can't praise the place highly enough.

Absolutely amazing dojo, for one monthly fee you get access to all of their classes including Karate, Ken Jitsu, Jiu Jitsu, Judo, Aikido and a fitness class. It's clean, well equipped and has fantastic instructors. I fully recommended it!
