Hi again. Just like to thank Jan for organising a surprise city break for my husband’s birthday. Once again Destina were extremely helpful and efficient in providing advice on hotels and flights while keeping it all secret. Thanks also to Abigail for her first hand experience on Budapest.

We recently travelled to Malta for a weeks holiday booked through Destina. We chose this destination because to was on the Green list and we thought it would be easier to comply with all the protocols. We had, however, to complete a PLF to get into Malta and to return to the UK. I had difficulty uploading our vaccination certificates. The young ladies at Destina were a fantastic help in doing this. Abigail and Hayley helped me and were wonderful. Sam and Jan organised the holiday and it all went very well. I decided not to prebook our tours on the island and found booking it through our hotel massively cheaper. We even had a chauffeur driven private tour for less than 30% of the rebooked quote.

A holiday to florence for my birthday from my wife Jayne, may i say this is our third holiday with Destina and its been fantastic. Zero hassle and all we asked for and more.Stayed at the Hotel Brunelleschi just a few streets away from the duomo, what a treat sitting in its own piazza Santa Elisabetta, which incidentally is the name of the hotels 2 Michelin star restaurant in the 6th century Byzantine tower. The staff and concierge's couldn't do enough for us, the city can be quite overwhelming and there is a lot of walking and exploring to do. As this was our first holiday since the lockdowns it made it all the more beautiful. For my birthday we had a lovely meal in fiesole, La Reggia for a magical time in the tuscan hills overlooking the whole of florence.We headed to pisa on the train which took a mere 55 mins to arrive there, yet another blast of tuscan/etruscan architecture and art. Must sees in florence are the pitti palace, Ufizzi gallery, the academia and Duomo to name but a few. Would dearly love to go back again.

We've booked 3 holidays with Destina, unfortunately we've only managed to go on one of them! As a result, we've not only seen the upfront booking service, but the after sales service when things go wrong. The first cancellation was due to ill health, with the second being due to covid. Both times Sam has been fantastic. Excellent communication throughout the whole process and extremely responsive. I would say, that we're from the generation who wouldn't usually use a travel agent (that's what the internet is for, right?!) however having now used Destina for several bookings to have someone take care of the finer details and take the admin headache away when things go wrong, definitely worth it.

Hotel BW Litteraire Marcel Ayme in Montmartre: Cons: Small room, with not much storage. Need to take a metro to main Paris attractions, but lots going on around the hotel.Pros: Very clean and comfortable beds, good breakfast with lots of variety and fresh ingredients. Staff very helpful indeed with good English Location excellent, lots of good moderately priced restaurants just nearby.

Many thanks to Jan for arranging an unforgettable holiday to Canada; it all went according to plan. The service we received throughout our holiday was excellent and we have no hesitation in recommending Destina Travel. Nothing was too much trouble for Jan, she was willing to answer all our questions and if she wasn't sure of the answer she would make a telephone call for clarification.
