Conwy Tours

Our tour with Amanda was an excellent way to begin our stay in Conwy. Amanda is friendly and extremely knowledgable and let us customize the tour asking if we wanted more history or more story. We asked for a little bet of both and were not disappointed. She is full of details and facts and open to any question. She also recommended a local pub (Erskine) where we had a wonderful dinner. I would not hesitate to recommend a tour with Amanda--it really helped us get our bearing and plus, she's just a super person!

Amanda is such a wonderful guide! Her knowledge of Welsh history is amazingly deep yet she makes it so interesting and fresh. We toured the castle and the town with her and enjoyed every minute of it. Highly recommend.

Amanda's walking tour was a great introduction to the town and she spoke with great knowledge and passion. Visiting the sites the next day (Plas Mwar and the Castle) I was able to draw on what Amanda had previously spoken about and viewing the sites put it into context, giving a deeper understanding.If your staying for a few days and able to go on the walking tour, I would highly recommend it before visiting the sites.Amanda also gave recommendations for dining out too, which was helpful. She is pleasant to talk too not just about the tour.

I highly recommend Amanda and Conwy Tours to anyone looking for the perfect combination of nature and history! Amanda took me on an incredible hike up Conwy Mountain and to Druid's Circle. She was friendly, knowledgable, and very accommodating, customizing the tour to my hiking ability and interests. She knew the best routes with the least crowds and most interesting sights (and wild ponies!).

We booked this last minute but it turned out to be much better than expected. Amanda kept us hooked with all her Welsh stories. In fact it didn't feel like we have have walked around the town. Her costume is an added attraction for those looking for some good photos. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone keen on experiencing Conwy through the lens of Welsh history.

We booked a private tour with Amanda, for our family (7 year old twin girls, and an 11 year old boy)We had such a lovely time. Amanda was really flexible and kind, she adjusted the tour according to our needs and what we wanted to see and learn. She was really knowledgeable and gave us alot of information and fun facts about the history of the Castle and the town. She managed to keep the kids interested throughout and very patiently answered all their questions. We definitely recommend booking a tour with Amanda, the castle really comes alive and you can almost picture what went on during those times when Amanda tells you all the stories :)

I cannot begin to express how incredibly fortunate we were to stumble across and book a day tour with Amanda. I found her so accommodating from the minute we started working out a good itinerary for my elderly parents, my husband, and I. Her communications were prompt offering us various options.The suggested itinerary did not disappoint! Amanda’s recommendations were spot on, we enjoyed every minute of our day and created some wonderful memories that we will always cherish.I just can’t say enough about how perfect the day was - from the marvelous driver she secured, to her timings, and places we visited.Her knowledge of the area is just mind blowing and we all learnt so much - at the same time she was so attentive to my parents and mindful of their limited mobility.We could not have had a better time touring the Conwy area. We signed up for a walking tour of Conwy with Amanda on our first day in town. What a treat!! Her tour served as an excellent introduction into the structure and history of the town and castle. She was excellent at story telling and made some great recommendations for shopping and eating.I liked how she asked my kids what they were interested in and what they wanted to know more about. I highly recommending taking the time to meet up with Amanda while you are in Conwy!
