Tan y Ddraig Conwy

Went here with my grand daughter on Sunday they only had one type of cake left asked if they did pancakes they said no asked if they could make one they said they don't have a cooker they buy everything in pre baked wow and I read early that day thay Wales was becoming a gastro delight I think not here they not.

A great little shop which serves a range of hot drinks and little snacks but you are there for the pottery painting! A really relaxing and fun way to spend a bit of time with the family. There is a wide variety of things to choose from to paint, ranging from gnomes to dragons to kitchen pots and key rings. We're going back to do it again in the same holiday. Definitely worth a visit if you are local area. The staff are really friendly and helpful. There are tables inside and in a covered area outside. A toilet is available but you have to ask for the key. Masks are worn inside and hand sanitiser is available. All brushes, paints, etc. are sanitised between customers.

Fantastically therapeutic.I'm not artistic in any way, shape or form but there were plenty of options for the artistically challenged.Guidance was clear and a friendly atmosphere.Can't believe I've never been in here before. Kids want to come here every week and even their efforts look good after glazing and firing.

Wonderful pottery studio/cafe/shop. Recently did a beginner's pottery class over 5 weeks and it was a lovely experience. Juliet is the best teacher sharing her knowledge on pottery as well lots of information on how the studio works. It was wonderful to learn about the basics of clay and the process. Met a wonderful group of ladies in class. Would definitely be back for more learning and creating.

What a wonderful way to spend the afternoon with great friends. Very relaxing place and the lovely ladies who run Tan y Ddraig were available when needed after explaining how things work, without hovering unnecessarily. Drinks and muffins were delicious, served promptly. Can't wait until next week to see the finished results. I will definitely be returning as the choice of what to paint was amazing - I already know what I want to do next time!

Had some wonderful hours with my family.Great that it was possible ( to pay extra ) to get our pottery ready till the day after.Great service.The whole place was filled with inspiration.Hardest thing was to choose what to paint.

Been several times to Tan Y Ddraig, workshops, painting, Psychics and prosecco! Always an absolutely fabulous time! Could not recommend this place enough!

Came here a few days ago to paint a half-and-half bowl with my fiancé and the place is lovely! The selection of ceramics is really big so it took us a while to actually decide on a bowl to paint. The staff were also really friendly and welcoming, and the hot chocolates we bought were also nice. ☺️ I would definitely recommended giving this place a visit if you're in North Wales.
