Richard McCartney is the most honest car dealer you will come across, Both I and my father have bought many cars over the years from him, always great service and aftercare, can't go wrong.

Called in to check over a Passat estate that caught my eye driving past. The salesman came out and was very knowledgeable about the stock, he was not pushy and gave us plenty to think about. The car although well priced was above my budget and having told the salesman he was still helpful saying he does do cars within my budget and I was welcome to call back anytime.

Called looking for a quote for a bit of work to be done, Mr McCartney called me back promptly to discuss various options for the work to suit budget. Was happy with the conversation and pricing so booked in for the following week. Left the car up and was offered a lift anywhere I needed to go. Called later the same day to tell me the car was ready and questioned if I had a warning light on (I had not) arranged to pick up the next day. Upon arrival Mr McCartney was warm and welcoming and immediately informed me that they had found out why the warning light was on, and as it was related to the work had rectified it immediately. I am impressed with his honesty and integrity to fix the issue and also admit that a mistake had been made. All in all a great experience and would recommend McCartney motors for mechanical work on your vehicle. The issue wasn't the first time it had occurred on my vehicle and the same mistake occurred with an other mechanic this is due to misleading part shape from car design and not reflective of mechanical knowledge, again I appreciate and applaud the honesty and integrity shown and will not hesitate to recommend McCartney motors
