Brilliant service from Andy after I damaged my computer and urgently needed help. It was late in the day but he immediately got on with the job, managed to recover my material off the hard drive, and then gave great advice on repairing the laptop or sourcing a new one. He was a real lifesaver and I can't recommend him highly enough.

Andy at Ace Data Recovery was very helpful in identifying issues with an important drive that had stopped responding.Unfortunately the damage to the drive seemed quite extensive and would possibly cost several thousand pounds in parts and labour, just to have a possibility of recovering any data.The high cost and high risk meant that we were unable to repair the drive or recover any data, but Andy was very honest, open and clearly extremely knowledgeable about all things storage so made sure I fully understood the situation and what had likely gone wrong.Very friendly, offered some good advice for the future, and I would definitely consult him again for any future disk failures or data loss - but lets hope that never happens!

I had an issue with a drive that suddenly was not recognised anymore as a known partition. My PC failed to work, so I couldn't access my files, no Internet etc. I found Andy's company to be local (and had good reviews) so I phoned him and he said to bring the PC over to him that same evening, so he could have a look to find the issue.Andy thoroughly tested the components of the unit and he quickly evaluated that only the power unit was faulty and needed replacing. He said he could order a new one - or could replace it if he a used one (which, luckily he had). I went for the used unit option and Andy installed it and my PC was fixed.On getting home I found that one of the pins on my power lead was faulty, I phoned Andy and he sourced me a used replacement, which I collected from him and everything has been fine since.Andy got my PC back up and running - as cost effectively and ASAP for me.He was very friendly and professional, explaining what he was doing and the different options throughout.I will definitely be going back to and recommend Andy for any future PC issues I or anyone I know may have.
