A great car park to park in that has a reasonable fee per hour with no extra fee for the fantastic views of the Isle of Wight. Not a large car park, but the spaces are not tiny like some others. Usually very neat and litter free, but it is on the cliff top and often very windy so not much to clean up! However, I feel that as the NFDC parking clocks are now £30 a year, the coastal car parks should be included even if only just for the winter months.

Like all the car parks along the coast road it needs tidying up, the parking bays are the very old 1965 dimensiions, cars have got wider and longer since they were back then. There were new EU sizes agreed long before we we left with Brexit, you would expect the /council to use their head and update the parking bays to that standard until the UK comes up with new dimesions. With the backlog of legislation waiting to go through Parliament that will not be any time soon. So council taxpayers will just have to put up with their cars getting door dings and the rest of it and grin and bear it.
