I used helping hands for a alternate week clean when my son was little. I had just gone back to work from mat leave and was really stressed about the state of the house- they asked us to pay 4 weeks in advance, completed two and then cancelled our contract when I asked for some improvements to the standard of cleaning (simple things like leaving very visible dust and dirt in the corners of the bathrooms)- they told us we would get a refund but did not pay and when I asked several times they just kept putting me off, eventually I gave up… when we saw all the negative reviews it made complete sense and I only wish we’d seen them before hiring them!
