I was a loyal Parkside customer from November 2021 until July 2023. Until this year, I found Parkside to be really friendly, helpful, and great value. Since February this year however, they've become absolute pirates.I've explained my bad experiences below, but more importantly, I've been going to Queenswood Garage on Tong Road since July. I really recommend Queenwood over Parkside. Way better value for money, more honest staff, and Queenswood will save you hundreds - Parkside got £750 out of me between November and July for shambolic work on my 2016 car.In Feburary, Parkside told me that I needed new rear brake pads and discs. I supplied my own Bosch brakes from EuroCarParts (one of the biggest car part providers in the UK) to get the best quality and they took £50 from me to fit them.5 months later, Parkside told me that my rear brakes needed replacing AGAIN. They said it had nothing to do with how they fitted the brand new market-leading brakes less than 6 months earlier, and they didn't help their case when the mechanic admitted to me that he'd never fitted Bosch brakes before fitting mine (despite it being THE biggest brand of brakes). Parkside also pushed back saying they didn't like EuroCarParts as suppliers anyway, making it out as though my brand new Bosch parts were faulty before they even fitted them. They replaced the rear brake pads and discs once again, this time with their own supplied parts, costing me another £160. Shock horror, their own new brakes started squealing horribly not a month later. I'd have been better off with sponges for brakes. To top it off, I failed my MOT a month later because the handbrake had too much travel - a problem I've since learned wouldn't have happened had the brakes been fitted properly.Last but not least, Parkside gave me a quote of £50 to replace my wing mirror LED. After having my car in the garage for a week, they ended up asking me to supply the part myself because they weren't able to reach Hyundai. I went to Hyundai that same day only to learn that the LED was more expensive than what Parkside had quoted me for, so Parkside no doubt pretended to not reach Hyundai so they wouldn't have to go back on the quote. When I sourced the LED myself for £80, Parkside then had the audacity to charge me another £35 to fit it, which took them less than 3 minutes.No other garage in Leeds would have such disregard for a long-standing customer. Loyalty means nothing to Parkside. They'll squeeze every penny they can out of you.

1st time using this garage. There are not enough words to say how amazing they were. Car went in for a pre MOT test. Gave me the cost for everything it would need doing for it to pass the MOT. Agreed price and did my MOT same day. Thank you all. You have a new customer. You are amazing

Terrible garage. Took my money and didn't do the DPF cleaning job they promise they will do. They tried to lock me in their garage until I pay them for the work they didn't do. Not a professional way to treat your costumer. Very threatening as well. Have to use a chargeback claim through my bank to my money back.

Just got a Mondeo and the clutch went a week later. Rang up and they got it booked in for the next day. Straight on to the job and rectified a few problems on the car from a previous garage. Replaced clutch and flywheel, day later cars ready to collect. Thanks a lot definitely will be back!Darren kept me up to date with everything going on.Thanks again!! 5*!!!

Absolute horrible customer service. I’m over 2HRS away from the garage and out of courtesy I thought they’d look at my images and assess the installations needed as I was more than willing to travel. But all’s I got was a “we’ll play it by ear” message. So I decide to phone them up to get a bit more information before I come as this is a specific job. Then all I got was a “Can’t Be Bothered to Deal With It” and they hung up on me. 10 minutes later they message me asking if someone had done them for me. Fortunately I’ve found a more professional garage who specialise in what I need to have done with their more expansive skillset. Wouldn’t let this garage touch my car one bit.

Gave us a very reasonable quote for a timing chain repair, car went in next morning and 2 days later its done and driving perfectly. They were really friendly, took their tike to explain everything they had done and kept in touch through the repair. Highly recommend!

Always have space for me last minute - have been 3 times now. Very helpful, very honest and very well priced. 1 car they always update me how good it looks, the other they have advised how poor it is and helped me to refuse it to the dealer I got it from.

I was advised to get some urgent work done by a garage that did my service. Took the car into Parkside and 10 minutes later I got a call telling me I didn't need half the things doing that I had been told.Honest service. Friendly team. Sensible prices.Used them a couple of times now. Happy to recommend.

Had some work done, a fairly simple job - wiper motor change. The best price quoted and due to the fact we used them before, it had very little option due to the fact we know they do a good job and as stated best price. Josh done the work and of what i can tell done a good job. Thanks Josh.

Yamaha R1, I've had my bike MOT'd here for last 8 year. Highly trusted as such I've recommended my friend too who also had a very good experience. Very knowledgeable and its clear they love what they do.
