Ended up taking out a county court judgement against Joe Bonner after he failed to complete the decorating job and roof repair work he was employed to do.The work he did do was not finished and was very poor.Ended up contacted Wiltshire Trading Standards and giving them a statement to add to their very thick file on Joe Bonner.

I have a county court judgement against Joe Bonner, the owner of this business, after he stole money from me for work not completed and materials that were not purchased.We employed him through Rated People and discovered afterwards that he had used a false name and false address to register himself on that site and Rated People had lied about verifying his details.The little work he did do was of a very poor standard, and not completed.He used a different colour and brand of paint then that specified, he watered down the paint, and applied it using a spray onto a rendered surface - something that should not be done.There were paint stains over the windows and the white paint for the windows sills was split over the brown paint he had already painted the front of the house with.He was employed to paint the front and rear of the property, the front door, replace guttering, facia and repair where the roof and facia meet. He only painted the front of the house before the excuses started as to why he couldn't turn up to complete the work.In the time he was supposed to be working on my property he went up and down my street touting for business and ripping my neighbours off as well. I had several angry neighbours knocking at my door wanting to have his contact details.Many other people also have been ripped off by this individual.
