INSA Korean BBQ

Very nice server , recommended things for us to try and helped change out the grill . The food was great quality and delicious just slightly pricier than other places .Great interior also.

Really delicious food, friendly staff and efficient service. The BBQ on the table to cook some of our dishes was quite a novel experience! Would definitely come back.

This is the best Korean barbecue restaurant I could find in the Newcastle so far. It is a very Morden and clean restaurant and has very few tables, locate in the very small neighborhood. However, the stuff is Asian and quite friendly. I think the crew cook might be Asian as well. Anyhow, the meat is so tender, although it comes with a whole chunk or piece of slice, so you have to cut a smaller yourself which most restaurant would cut it smaller for the customers as it’s served, but I think it’s good that we can customize how small or how big we want to cut. Highly recommend spicy pork or bugolgi beef, but if you like mushrooms, go for Enoki mushroom with garlic. It was really good, but it takes quite long to cook unless you put in the center of the pan. If you ask for extra sauce or extra cabbages they gonna charge you 1.50 each time, so I think it’s acceptable. Kimchi pancake could be better, but as long as the meat is good, I have no complaints about this place. Highly recommended this place. It’s a bit pricey, so probably will be the best if you split with the people you come with.

I got the Korean BBQ Food and it was pretty expensive for what is was to be honest, not that much food or sauces were given, it was quite basic. We ordered the rib eye beef and it came frozen, literally they served us frozen meat on our plate … so what that says about the rest of the kitchen and food quality who knows.Service was good very nice waiters. Personally I wouldn’t order again but the concept it fun

Visited INSA last night for date night with my boyfriend and it's safe to say, we couldn't be happier! Everything from start to finish was incredible - the food, drinks and overall atmosphere. We opted for the BBQ and took the server's recommendations of how much meat to order and went away with very happy bellies :) For how much food we got, we thought it was very reasonably priced too. Special shoutout to Yoco and Lucy for being so hospitable and going out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and that our food was properly cooked - they checked on us every few minutes and it was so so lovely of them. Will definitely be visiting again and recommending to all our friends!

Me and my friend came and we got barbecue it was really good but we weren’t able to finish it because we were so full. The bulgogi beef was amazing and easy to cook. The chicken was nice but it took a while to cook fully. The man that served us was really nice and the decor inside was really pretty.

After our original place let us down by booking mix up, this place accommodated us for a last minute birthday meal and everything was phenomenal. The manager (I believe) was so understanding, and delivered top notch service as well as the waitresses there. Food was brilliant, we’re enthusiastic foodies and this place really exceeded our expectations, definitely be coming again. Highly recommend the bulgogi beef and lamb chops barbecue, and stir fried udon noodles. The manager and waitress stayed back 45 minutes after closing as we were still eating and they did it with such a refreshing and happy attitude. They also provided a free cheesecake for my husbands birthday. Could not fault this place one bit.

Took my daughter for a pre-Christmas dinner. Food was excellent, service was excellent and atmosphere was great despite there being only us in at the early time. Ingredients used in food are high quality and the flavours mouthwatering. We had a real mix of dishes with various kimchi, noodles, wagyu beef, Iberian pork, truffle fried rice and other delicacies. Would highly recommend and we will return.
