It was rather cute cafe. The staff was polite and welcomed us. The place inside is cosy and warm with old English architecture. Building itself has been kept in its original shape from outside. Limited seating and you’d be lucky if you get space at busy time. I don’t believe they have reservations. Food was delicious and affordable with value I was expecting. So yeah, it was all great experience. 5 stars for everything and definitely recommended.

Not sure if ever been in a such intimate place before... just few tables and a lovelly room to have a bite or as is says a small talk :) love the name and it perfectly fit the tea room, elements and decorations. As was in a day trip I needed a quick lunch due to limited time bedore leaving location and to be able to see the beautiful town. The lasagne was perfect and delicious (assuming was cooked before I choose this dish so I didn't need to wait a long time :)Many thanks!

We came for afternoon tea in February, and were pleased with the good portions, flavours, and cost (as only £9 for two teas and a scone to share). Though it was busy, staff was kind and helpful, the atmosphere cosy.

We have had delicious scones here before however we came for a full English, it doesn’t say on the menu what is included and I think I know why. No mushrooms, no fried bread and no black pudding. The eggs were solid and not runny and the 1/2 tomato was raw. When queried the staff member said that it was their version of an English breakfast, obviously ignoring what is the definition of ‘A Full English’ breakfast. Not once we’re we asked if the food was alright, they obviously like to make up the answer themselves. The staff member is quite arrogant, unless you’re one of her local buddies and I expect an arrogant reply to this! Definitely not worth the money.

Small talk yea rooms in Bourton on the water was a great place to visit during our break to the Cotswolds. The cream tea was a great price and the scone with clotted cream and jam was so so nice. Great location, friendly quick staff too.Would recommend

This is a great place and well worth the wait. The cream tea was exceptional- great scones. We enjoyed the courtyard, but the inside was really cozy.It seemed like everything you order here would be good.

A lovely little cafe in the Boughton on water village. So cosy in there. The staff were really lovely. Very inviting and bubbly. Both ladies made conversation with us and it was so nice.May be a little bit small and crowded if busy but the staff will attend to any needs as noticed today!Me and my friend had a latte and it was amazing. Great energy boost for the day. Although we didn't get any food, we did look at the menu and it has a very wide variety of things to order. Will definitely be coming back here.

I think it is probably a better place for sweet rather than savoury. The menu is toasties, baked potatoes etc. Milkshake is clearly milk with nesquik or similar rather than a proper ice cream based one. Felt a little expensive for what it was but I suspect that is due to the town it's in rather than the owner being greedy. Toilet is in the court yard behind the staff only sign.
