Shepperton Lock
This lock is very well maintained and looks beautiful in the summer sun. Plenty of shaded seating under the willow trees by the cafe that serves refreshments. Just sit back and watch the boats go through the locks.

This really is a beautiful place to go walking, the canal is very relaxing and the wild life around is nice to take in. I felt very relaxed and at home here. We walked all along the canal and got the little boat over to the other side as well. Lots of families around as well and also had a wonderful pub lunch. Highly recommend place to see if you like a bit of relaxing and class.

Walking the Thames Path from the source and this is the best maintained lock so far, really friendly lockkeeper and a well looked after lock and gardens.

It's a boat lock on the River, you do have a pub close by with free 24hr mooring.
