We had Phil do what we considered a big job, he did it all in a very professional manner, arrived when he said he would and explained how it all worked in simple terms. Highly recommend Phil as he is a gentleman to work with.

Though this is the first review I've written for Phil.Having done several plumbing jobs for me in the past, and one more recently, I am familiar with his high standards of work.Phil takes the time to show and explain exactly what the problem is, and gets to the heart of the matter quickly, and works confidently, competently and diligently to correct it with minimum fuss, and at a reasonable rate.Phil Appleby is a complete professional, and a seriously hard act to follow.I bless the day he was recommended to me.Thank-you

Very quick and efficient service. Having moved to a new (old) house, Phil supplied and fitted a new hot water cylinder and replaced 2 leaking radiators. Disposed of the old parts and even vacuumed the landing. No mess, no fuss. I would highly recommend him.

Contacted Phil for installation of boiler. Came when he promised. Neat and tidy work. Professional. No time wasting. Knows his stuff. Highly recommend.

Phil did a job a year and a half ago: 2 small bathrooms, 7 radiators (2 large, 5 small)upstairs. He changed a copper cylinder, and he asked us €5300. He promised to send us the receipts for everything and he never did. He made a big hole in the ceiling while working on the bathrooms. He didn't even took off money,as being his mistake. When we moved the kids upstairs and the bathrooms started leaking, we started calling him and sent several messages. The water was leaking in two different places, in the place where he made the hole in the ceiling and in the kitchen at the fanlight. We had to pay an electrician to change the fanlight. At one point he came to fix a very big leak of water, but he was very ignorant, and when we asked him to set a timer for the heating system, he told us that even a child can do this, somehow we were incapable. He asked €5800, and we agreed on €5300. So that's the good Phil. How he spoke to us after taking €5300 from us, I don't see where the professionalism is here. After he did the job upstairs, the radiators downstairs don't work as they should. Once they heat up, 5 times they don't. So I don't see how others give you 5 Stars Phil. You don't even deserve 1 out of 5.

Phil did a great job fixing our plumbing and replacing the boiler. He was very professional, polite and didn't waste any time. Would definitely recommend Phil to family and friends.

Phil just finished fitting a new oil boiler and cleaning out our rads.We also had a problem with our water heater which he was instantly able to analyse and fix.Very professional, knows his stuff and the job was done with minimal fuss.Highly recommended.Thanks Phil!

Had an emergency with a shower. Called Phil and he arrived within three quarters of an hour. I had to go to work so left Phil with a friend of mine. Got a text from her about 30 minutes later saying the problem was fixed. And he only charged me 15 euros over the call out fee. I would highly recommend Phil for his promptness, efficiency and value for money.
