My local pub, lovely atmosphere and good community vibe. The food has always been really good and decent value. The Sunday roast is excellent and worth a visit for!

Food is great, limited options! We could only eat there after out second try! The first we got there around 2 pm and they didn’t have enough food. Since it was nice and sunny, we were looking forward to sit in the garden, but apparently they do not serve there! I honestly don’t know why they have it. Waitresses were kind, it took sometime for them to clear our table! But overall the food was good. It is an amateur environment, with homemade good food. It seems like they don’t wish or desire to make much effort as fat as the service is concerned! I believe they can afford that. In summary food is good, service can be better! Zero covid measures in case you ar concerned with any of that.

Amazing roast dinner, very tasty and I had the nut roast which was just superb. Such friendly staff. Who checked in on us and made us feel welcome.Please go and enjoy the food.Thank you all

Popped in here one lunch time for food, the staff were very welcoming. The menu had some great options, I settled on the loaded fries with cheese, jalapenos, sauce, cream and BBQ pulled pork. The food my colleagues had looked great too and we all enjoyed it... Great pub with nice layout inside too, everything was perfect!!

We didn’t have a reservation but the waitress was kind enough to let us sit at a high top to eat. We had the Sunday roast beef and roast chicken with all the sides. Wow…it was perfectly cooked, beautifully presented and very flavorful. The veggies were particularly well seasoned.We then had rhubarb crunch and sticky toffee pudding and it was absolutely delicious as well.Excellent service by the bar staff who checked on us several times.

Another well spent Sunday in another lovely pub on an autumn afternoon. Amazing pub, service is very friendly. The pub was packed so is obviously a popular place.The roast itself was very nice, had the pork belly which was nice and tender, crackling was delicious as well. Special mention to the Yorkshire pudding, gravy, carrots and cauliflower cheese. Roast potatoes were ok, nothing special.

Good overall roast dinner, beef was melt in the mouth with nice veggies.My only little niggle was the roast potatoes weren't quite cooked enough and not crispy or fluffy outside. Nice pint of Neckoil and good overall service. Recommended.

Great service from moment we arrived took our drink order. Sunday lunch was amazing . 7 of us went for Sunday dinner 6 meat eaters and a veggie. All food was very tasty and piping hot. Good portion sizes. Didn’t feel rushed . Will definitely be back
