Found this lovely place driving home from Bicester Village. Wanted something quick and wholesome. Had a lovely well presented meal, good service, speedy which was just what we needed. Would be nice to go back again if we had more time. Not busy when we arrived, different when we left. For us it is a bit out of the way, but one to remember and revisit when passing through. Very enjoyable.

This is a great little pub just up on Caunton Road. Food is absolutely delicious; would highly recommend the Steak and Stilton pie if available as a special. Service is first class and the staff were genuinely warm, welcoming and very professional. Well worth a visit.

Called at this wonderful little place on speck, not disappointed at all. Steak was the best we've ever had, cooked just to our liking, very tasty and good pportions, chips were great so was salad with nice dressing. Lovely onion rings, mushroom and baby tomatoes. Absolutely lovely meal. Staff were very welcoming, pleasant and friendly. Cannot fault at all, will be visiting again.

Stopped by on chance, had the most amazing food.Staff were very friendly from the minute we arrived. So good to see a family run pub.Will definitely come back.

Visited a while ago whilst passing, sorry to say the food really wasn’t great. The chips looked and tasted like supermarket own brand oven chips, the fish was tasteless and the batter was rubbery. It filled a hole, but I’ve had better from a greasy joe roadside cafe. Lovely staff though, nice environment and good draft beer. Maybe I was unlucky and other dishes are better?

Called in on the way somewhere on a Thursday evening, couldn't fault it at all. Staff really friendly and attentive... pie, mash and peas absolutely delicious. All in all, one of, if not the best pub meals I've had in a very long time. The chef even came round asking everyone how the food was and for feedback, which was a nice thing to do. Would highly recommend if you want great hearty food and friendly service. Thank you :)

Small country pub with food. Has a car park for around 15 cars. Good menu, Lovely food which was well cooked, staff were friendly & polite. Hadn't been for a few years but will be returning & will recommend.

We called here for lunch as we travelled to the Peak District and were impressed enough to call again on our way home 5 days later. As it was a nice sunny day, we sat outside and although near the road it was quiet.

First visit this evening, but it certainly won't be the last! From a warm welcome, to fantastic food, topped off with a find farewell. Cannot recommend this place enough. We will be back soon!Thank you for a fantastic evening.

We were a group of 20 for Sunday lunch Positive communication beforehand. Everyone was very happy with their meal. Great quality and beautifully presented. The staff were welcoming, and served everything with care. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. We had a great time. Thank you so much to the team!! X
