After 10 years of ordering food from The Wongs vertually every week tonight will be our last!!! The food has gone down hill over the last few months but tonight took the mick. The whole lot has gone in the bin it was not at all edible. The salt and chilli chips where pure salt, the salt an chilli king prawn was days old hard and rubbery, the young chow fried rice had no taste and had translucent shrimp in. Roast pork curry doesn't taste like curry! Never going back!!!

Food is good when what you request is right, I'm not one for over use of chillies but very often they do, I have on all occasions asked for a mild curry, if you don't you end up with a fire pot and then you can't taste the curry or the veg because the amount of chillies they put in totally ruin what would have been a tasty dish. This weekend I asked for a mild beef curry, which ended it up just being a chillie curry because nothing else could be tasted also asked for a mild mixed veg in black bean sauce with no bamboo shoots, what did I get a firepot with loads of bamboo shoots, they really need to take notice of what is being ordered and any amendments to the requested dish, when they get that right they'll be back on track, other than that when they get right - great couldn't be better, but when they get it wrong it's wasted money .

Lovely food, good staff very friendly, always busy which is very indicative of their standards. Give them a try....

Ordered from here with delivery and the food that comes in hard plastic containers wasn't closed properly and all the sauce and food was in the bottom of the bag and soaked the chips. So I rang them up and told them and they told me it's a chance I take when I have food delivered. Will not order from here again. Golden city is the best.

First time trying these and they did not disappoint the food was lovely and well worth the money would definitely be going back.

Since having returned to the UK from Canada, we have been looking for a Chinese take away that met the standard of takeaways from 15 years ago. The Wongs met that standard and beyond. The food was excellent and the spring rolls were almost as big as I remembered and much better than the competitors. This is definitely my go-to take away in the future and I will fully recommend it to my friends and neighbours.

Not impressed they had forgotten my chicken balls and sweet and sour sauce when I knew I ordered them and was rude when I asked to read what I had ordered out.Ps. The chips are dry and chewy.
