Had a carotid artery 79% blocked, operated on at HRI, care before and afterwards excellent, Tracy caled at home and gave tons of good advice, also Maisy Renold, senior Occupational Therapist quickly answered a query about the allowable time before driving legally, that the DVLA couldn't...

I prefer to phone this Health Care sooner than Calvert, or Newington Practices because there more amicable than the staff at either of my Surgeries, they get things done.

One star for CHCP is one star too many.CHCP is an absolutely corrupt, inept, useless organisation which is running a massive number of NHS services across Hull into the ground. My GP surgery is run by CHCP. I cannot get an appointment.Likewise, I cannot an appointment with CHCP's Let's Talk counselling service. They rarely answer the phone. When they do they are rude, unhelpful and dismissive. They insist that I make an onlien referral. When I tell them that I don't have internet access they question this and do not help me.I have previously worked for CHCP. The managers are not properly qualified. They are deceitful, always telling lies to cover their backs. They are back-stabbers. They are unapproachable. Most are badly-education glorified bloated housewives. The CCG need to really take a long hard look at the damage CHCP is doing to healthcare services in Hull, and award the contracts for these elsewhere.I have raised my concerns about CHCP with Hull CCG and the CQC. I encourage others to do the same. if enough patients complain those in charge will have to do something.CHCP - should be renamed, Couldn't Help or Care for Patients.

I moved & decided on CHCP for our family GP as we received a lot of ancillary services through them, so it made sense at the time. After being patients almost 12 months we are yet to see a GP in person; I was offered one home visit but that was not attended. As someone with multiple health conditions and being housebound I think this is absolutely unacceptable and irresponsible. Speaking on the phone is generally all that is offered but gaining one of these coveted calls us near to impossible and when you do get one they rush you and you are lucky if they address one issue least of all multiple ones you have them.

I today have no issues with chcp but the company that works on there behalf eg district nurses I rang 247111 hull number spoke to a low life rude arrogant reception staff and tried explaining the situation of both intercom systems out to a block of high rise flats and she stated she would get a nurse to ring me.The nurse already rang and stated she don't think the nurse would want one and they would ring. Ok let's say patient house bound I'm in town nurse rings mobile how is the nurse going to get in, reason of council issuing spare fob key to get into the block of flats and the horrible disgusting obnoxious species of an unfed reptile turn round and barks up the wrong tree by calling myself an A---hole does this specimen know that calls are recorded Very un proffesional indeed. Does she realize her job can be at steak but then again maybe shes not bothered no respect, I hope she ends in the dole cue no one needs to be spoken to in this manner what so ever when your trying to make things easy for the nurses and a patient. I now see why no one as faith in the NHS and to think CHCP as pharmacies and drs and dentists if this is the staff they employ I pity them. I have made a complaint. Over phone. But no doubt NHS or CHCP they will only stick together as always. Another member of staff when I rang because I was fuming after been called an A----hole this staff said she would not of said that to me that is the first sign of favouritism and questioning my integrity and just as bad as the staff saying I'm an A----hole

Covid booster jab was booked for 9.20 Thursday 11th Nov. in unit 34 Princes Quay, Hull. The unit is miles too small for what they are trying to achieve. Consequently it took almost a hour to queue, booking in, queue some more and finally get vaccinated. On leaving, I noted the queue was now horrendous. The staff are doing their best but please, don't give out so many appointments if you can't accommodate them without an hour long wait.
