Absolute diamond of a shop. If Phil hasn't got what you want then he'll do his best to get it for you. Unbeatable service, friendly and knowledgeable staff with prices that you will be hard pushed to better anywhere. Strongly advise you to get down to Choons and revive your vinyl collection as there is a great selection of new and used stuff....oh and you may even get a free beer!!. Outstanding.

Best record store experience I've had. Their stock can be a bit patchy but the atmosphere of the place more than compensates for it, and I was still able to find a few things I like for a good price, shop owner even gave me a wee discount. Definitely trumps another Bangor record store..

Excellent shop with great selection of both new and first hand records, at a great price. The main selling point is Phil and the care he shows his customers. Choons is hard to beat.

Phil has a wonderful cave filled with some amazing discoveries. If there's any record you require Phil will order it for you. I highly recommend this gem of a record store.

For anyone needing their vinyl fix you should pay a visit to the new, improved Choons in Bangor, County Down. Your host will be the knowledgeable, friendly Phil Mckee. The shop is stocked with the best new releases plus the choicest of used vinyl around, great prices too.

My first experience with Choons was incredible!I went in on RSD and asked if they had Goldfinger - Hello Destiny....they did notBut unlike the other shops I went to Choons got on the phone and ordered me a copy. I asked if I could pay extra to have it delivered to me when it arrived as I live in Lisburn but I was told not to worry as one of their employees lived near me and would drop it into me on their way home.Amazing shop with fantastic customer service!

This is what it's all about with record collecting. This small store has an unbelievable range of titles. some absolute gems at great prices. I really enjoyed chatting with Phil, very knowledgeable and wanting to share his passion! So happy to have found this shop today and picked up a great title from my list!

The loveliest people, fantastic stock and really fair prices. I only wish I had popped in sooner. Phil is knowledgeable, friendly and not out to get the arm in like many other local record stores. I will be back very soon!
