Lovely walks around this Tor and the nearby Haytor. Great views over the moors and towards the coast. Well worth a visit.

FREE PARKING! Relativity small carpark with no height restrictions. Perfect location to walk up both Saddle Tor and Haytor Rocks.

The next free car park along past Haytor, on the right. Presents a nice, gentle inclination to Saddle Tor. Park here at night to see the lights across the road, in the distance, at Totnes and Torquay.

Saddle Tor North Car Park
There is a north and south car park so this Tor is easy to reach from the road for those who don't want to or can't walk miles. The views all around are stunning.

Ideal spot to park for access to Haytor and Saddle Tor. Much better than the other two Haytor car parks further down the hill. A fantastic view from here too: with binoculars on a clear day you can pick out the Daymark at Kingswear.
