A quaint little station . It's got a nice little shop that serves drinks & pastries. It's got a rural feel with wooden features & flower beds. Well maintained & clean toilets, with paper ! The ticket office is sometimes manned. There is No disabled access, as there are steps & stairs into the station & over the bridge to the other platform.(Update: the small kiosk shop is currently closed )

Two weeks jury service spent here. A very educational experience. The surrounding area of Wanstead was a delight to visit every day, from the quaint station, the high street with its cafes to the attractive architecture and greenery.

This station is served by the Central line there are toliets available on the platforms. No disabled access as there is stairs to platform 1 and a small set of steps outside the station entrance. The ticket barriers are always open here and not many staff around. Ticket hall area is very small.

It's a tube station with no staff present at the early morning and I doubt late evening, the toilet facilities are always closed and no staff to open them. TfL are gradually reducing services, its deplorable.

This Central Line station is well-maintained.And I reckon it's the ONLY tube station with toilets (still open) on both UP and DOWN platforms - a relic of when it used to be a proper railway station pre WW2.

The Foxwells station kiosk is convenient, has friendly staff, and good pastries. One of the few stations with reasonably clean toilets, and the TfL staff are friendly (though perpetually understaffed), and the garden is a nice touch (excellent sweet figs). Yes the accessibility for journeys heading west needs to be improved, but it's planned for 2024.

Snaresbrook station is unnecessarily difficult for those with mobility problems - and it could so easily be rectified and at no cost. The street gate which leads via stairs directly to the westbound platform to central London is open from 5am to 10am and then closed. Just one set of stairs when it is open - and there are electronic barriers at the top to stop fare-dodgers.When the gate is shut at all other times there are not only steps up to the station to the high street to negotiate, but also steps up to the bridge crossing the track and steps down to the platform - three sets of steps. Many elderly people have no option but to take a bus or walk to Wanstead.
