Well, this review is not actually for this coffee shop -as it closed permanently- , but for Starbucks IN the train station (they don't have a profile on Google maps).The staff was friendly, the prices ok -the same as usual for a Starbucks Coffee Shop- , BUT. I tried to scan my points card to redeem points and they told me that, I can do it ONLY if I have my credit card in the app (so, I had to use the PAY& SCAN method). It is the FIRST time that happens in a Starbucks Coffee Shop and it is not ok.I don't know if the company changed their points policy or if it is a misunderstanding of the staff members, but CHECK IT.Thanks.

£4.60+ for a small Mocha. Just use the Starbucks on the high street and you save a lot more. In this cost of living crisis the prices are getting ridiculous.

6 members of staff behind the counter stood chatting and eating! Look at you strange when you order something. Dirty tables. Go elsewhere and save yourself £5 for a small latte.

Knowing that this Starbucks is in a rail station, service should have a faster pace…Staff looks always depressed, rarely smile… but drinks are great but very expensive. I usually have the smallest caramel frappe and it comes out £5.30… I wonder if I have the bigger how much it will be.. £10?

People were lovely and it’s always busy by the looks of things so I understand mistakes will be made, we’re human. But! I went in after a long journey, still even further to travel, was knackered so went in for a coffee to keep me awake on my next train and a lady next me me had a similar sounding name, they assumed it was both the same name. They called her name so she came up took her drink and went off. I thought it was a really big coincidence that we apparently ordered the same drink too.A while later, I’m a little antsy thinking they’re taking a while to make the drink, I’ve got a train to catch - the lady came back to say they’d given her the wrong drink (so she’d clearly drank some already) they then give the drink straight to me…..should have made a new drink. I hate waste as much as the next person but if I told you, the person working behind the counter, that you can drink it and you think that’s disgusting - why was it ok to give it to another customer? Health and safety…?

Meh. It's Starbucks. If your expecting great coffee then you've come to the wrong place. Coffee tasted very bland and the latte just tasted watery. However the staff were lovely and very chatty.

Not enough staff. It's a busy train station, 4pm and only 2 workers, queue of customers waiting for coffee, can't guarantee coffee in 10 minutes. Having a train to catch had to skip ordering.Someone should tell management this is a BUSY place, not enough workers is not acceptable.

You can’t charge 4 pounds for Flat white when you don’t know how to make coffee properly you definitely not using the high quality beans but at least put some effort to make drinkable coffee

The prices are very over rated, really don’t know how coffee places come up with those prices. So I only buy coffee these days if I can enjoy the experience of sitting somewhere different to unwind, catch up on messages, etc. In this case, to also wait for the train to my next destination.I found the staff very friendly, and the tables were clean, which can be unusual on a train station, while I was having my coffee waiting for my train connection, I noticed the staff always kept the tables clean, removing the rubbish and wiping everything.Just read lots of bad reviews here complaining of double charges on cards, or card machines never working. That’s why I always prefer cash payments because it’s always the safest way to protect our money from unwanted charges, also best because with cash we can always buy what we want when machines are down, so it’s best for us and all businesses. The good old fashioned way always the best, can’t go wrong with that! :)
