Having been a patient at the practice for over thirty years but not having visited for approximately ten years, I was was a little unsure as to how I would find it after my previous doctor had retired.I have to say that I was very impressed.I found the reception team to be very approachable, empathetic and highly capable of signposting patients to the appropriate staff member within an appropriate timeframe.Whilst I was quite prepared to wait a couple of weeks for an appointment, I was prioritised due to my symptoms.I received a telephone appointment on the same day, blood tests within two days and a face-to-face doctors appointment within 48 hours of the initial blood tests. At that appointment, a consultants referral was initiated, further blood tests and an emergency MRI scan were immediately organised.Having heard from others that my new doctor is really ‘on the ball’ and quick to spring into action whenever any potentially worrying symptoms arise, I was able to confirm this certainly is the case.Perhaps, I shouldn’t have been surprised as my family and I directly credit Dr Mostert for saving a family member’s life as she picked up on a tiny variation in a blood test and rather than dismissing it as ‘okay,’ which I suspect some would’ve, she choose to repeat the tests in a fortnight’s time and a small ‘life-saving’ window of opportunity wasn’t missed. Urgent surgery was undertaken and therefore the patient survived.I’m happy to say that I have every confidence in my new doctor and I am certain that I will receive rapid treatment when necessary.

Excellent practice. I've been with them for over 30 years. Very friendly reception staff and secretary, Becky. A large practice- relatively easy to get a phone appointment providing you phone at 8.30am. Regretfully we have to leave the practice as we are relocating.

I've been registered with this practice since late 1979! Firstly, I want to thank all the team past and present for the care I have received. I've never had cause to complain. COVID has been a stressful time for everyone and the team have been at the chalk face so I have a great deal of respect for the dedication they have shown. Unfortunately old age brings many unwanted gifts! I am therefore having to make use of the services more often. My recent encounter involved an appointment with Dr James. I was able to get a telephone appointment on the day I called. Within less than 2 hours of the call I had a prescription ready for me at the pharmacy. I can't close without thanking my current named GP Dr Condley, I feel in very safe hands and I can't ask or expect more than that.

I have never liked going to the doctors but I have a great Doctor who works at a poorly managed surgery. The receptionist on my last visit took the advantage to speak to me in a rude and confrontational manner when I wasn't well and feeling at my best, instead of doing their job which is greeting me and providing me with instructions. They demand respect on the signs at the front desk, yet they give no respect to their patients. The rash and poor behaviour of the untalented receptionist makes me want to look for a new surgery, instead of dealing with a clear and present attitude problem the next time I need to go to the doctor.

Because off changes off repeat prescriptions changing so no longer done at boots chemist. I became so confused which app to use for ordering prescriptions. I spoke to the lovely receptionist she was so calm, caring, showed me how to do it while taking time to check in persons coming in.Was so very helpful, and great in teaching what to do.Has on site parking and toilets. Very Helpful nurses. And plenty of doctors.Very much needed community's surgery.

This surgery is rapidly going downhill. Rang this morning at 0830 on the dot - no 15 in queue. Waited over half an hour only to be told no appointments with any doctor today and earliest can book is the end of next week. When I have previously rang told no pre bookable appointments have to ring on the day! So which is it ? This is extremely frustrating and upsetting. I work in healthcare so am aware of the pressures we are under but they need to reevaluate their procedures as this is going to cause more distrust in an already fractured system.

Been a patient here for over 60 years and have received satisfactory treatment until recently a fall caused me to be hospitalised with a femoral hip fracture. The medication to ward off osteoporosis was prescribed regularly for 20 years. I took this medication believing it to be helping to prevent the disease only to be informed by a Consultant that it should have been prescribed for only 5 years and to cease taking it immediately. It was having an adverse effect on my bones making them more likely to snap. Which is what happened. After considerable pain and inconvenience I'm informed that my other hip is in danger of collapse hence the probability of another hip operation in the new year. I was told by the surgery that it may have happened anyway! Not a good enough explanation I think. From a disgruntled but otherwise pretty active and healthy 83 year old.

The frustration in getting through to this surgery actually puts you off from wanting to call, but with an unwell toddler I have no choice! Always have to wait 30 minutes to an hour for a person to answer and then there is never any appointments only a call back which you have to wait all day for even when it’s a baby/toddler. I’ve been a patient here from just before the pandemic and it’s been shambles ever since.

Absolute joke why am I having to wait over an hour to get through to someone when I’m “number 8 in the queue” why do you spend so long on the phone speaking to people? Get their details book them in, simple as that. Who has this kind of time to be wasting???
