DeWaldens Garden Centre & Coffee Shop

Stopped here for a bite to eat. Initially staff slow to attend but it was busy at around noon time. Meal was well presented and enjoyable. First visit but would come back again. The garden centre not very large and does a good line in baby prams.

A great Café with a garden centre / gift shop / pram centre tagged on. It's always busy, ( well the Café part of it is) .... the staff always seem to be rushed, but still manage an interaction with the diners. The menu is enough to keep you coming back. The lentil or chicken & rice soup is a definite favorite [ lentil soup at this time of the year ??? I know, buy I'm not commenting on the weather, or there would be a few more expletives in here !!! ]Not wanting to 'overlook' the garden side of things .... this also does do a good deal of business as well. Once again Lunch was delicious. Really well priced. Restaurant always busy. Staff really pleasant and helpful. Lovely unusual gift selection. Has become the go to" place for lunch."

More coffee shop than garden centre. Coffee shop was very busy, must be good.More importantly for me they had refill 6kg propane gas bottles available.

They wouldn't give my wife a glass of water,and they said they legally don't have to as they don't sell alcohol.We had spent £15 ,so I was surprised to be denied such a small request.I pointed out that locally both Dobbies & Eden supplied water.It has put me off going there again.

Pretty shocking that management will not provide paying customers with a glass of tap water — only expensive bottled water. Staff were perfectly friendly and the food was fine, but I will not be back to the cafe for this reason. Miserly.

Stopped in to see the Xmas decorations and have a bite to eat. Cafe was very busy but I can't say the food was anything special. Lentil soup was nice but too salty and my partner's burger certainly left a lot to be desired.

Very nice shop . Christmas decorations on display - some really nice ones. Didn't go to coffee shop as it was really busy ( usually is )Nice pleasant staff . Always worth a visit
