Patience paid offWhile my initial impression of this company wasn't particularly professional due to delayed quotes and difficulties reaching their technical team, I'm now 100% satisfied with the service and the frameless glass door (2.3m x 5m) they installed in our conservatory. As a family-run business, they offer a personal touch and we’re glad we chose them.

Outstanding Installation ServiceInitially hesitant about this company due to the reviews I read. They mentioned being taken over by new owners so we gave them the benefit of the doubt. I am happy we did - the doors look fantastic. They have not only made our room brighter but also created a sense of spaciousness. The installation was handled by a fantastic team (thank you Adrian!) and the entire service was both friendly and efficient.

We had Slide and Pivot doors at our last property, however we did have an issue with a sticking lock mechanism. I contacted the company several times asking for a service and was prepared to pay. After several emails, we never got any reponse as to how to get someone out to look at the issue. In the end we moved house without getting the lock repaired. I was considering using them again for our new property as we loved the style and design of the doors. However after reading other people's reviews I now know the issues I experienced with post-sale support were not a one off. I will look elsewhere.

I wanted to share an interim review to say thank you to Sunseeker for their ongoing support of our project. We've had to delay and shuffle Sunseeker around several times as other suppliers have let us down. As a result Sunseekers' doors are not yet installed, but their willingness to work with us to accommodate our project is hugely appreciated. I look forward to posting a final review when our project is complete.

I had Slide and Pivot doors installed on my extension several years ago and initially was happy with the product and installation. However the main pivot door is now very hard to open ( I have to shoulder barge it) and close (I have to slam it close and hope it doesn’t break) so much so that I am afraid to open the door in case I can’t get it shut again. I’ve tried phoning it can never get an answer, leaving voice mails and emailing for over a week but so far no response at all from the company. All I’m trying to do is arrange a repair. This is terrible after care service. I suspect the issue is to do with some kind of misalignment and can be easily fixed by an engineer, but being able to even talk to someone is proving impossible! I shall update this review if I do get any action/response.Update: the company kindly responded to this review with a link to their service request form. I filled this in and was then very quickly emailed with a service appt for the beginning of the next week which was excellent. The engineer arrived on time, was very efficient and effective in repairing the door. Turns out the notch on the white slider rail on the bottom was not put in the correct place when they were originally installed. He rectified this and adjusted the frame a little too. He was very tidy and polite too. The doors now glide more smoothly and effortlessly than when they were originally installed. The company did not charge me for rectifying this, which I am also grateful for.So overall updating to 4 stars, knocking one off since the pain and time it took to get an engineer out was a hassle.Key learning- fill in the service form which you can see linked in the company’s response to this review. Or, I’ve now found it buried in the website under “products and services”. I recommend the company update the website to make it easier to discover and more explicit. As normal folk will just try emailing and phoning like I did.

We have had doors installed since September 2021 so wanted to write about my experience.I was nervous about choosing SunSeeker doors due to the negative reviews that I read. However I could see that SunSeeker were trying to address some aspects of Admin and Communication (their Instagram account showed them trying to recruit office admin staff and technicians to focus on service related call outs).I did ask them about their reviews and they were open about the fact that Covid had hit them hard (they are a small company and so losing any workers are difficult to work around). However they were actively working on trying to resolve the issues. That being said, there were still comms issues, where you had to contact different people sometimes multiple times. We also had our installation postponed the night before, due to installers getting COVID but the admin team were quick to notify us and then arrange a different date.We are extremely happy with the doors and they are everything that we hoped for, with slim profiles/sightlines and they look great when fully opened. There only seemed to be one other company in the UK that manufactured these types of doors (with the slim sightlines) however their quote was over double SunSeeker.I have had to contact SunSeeker with a minor door issue, my experience was that after my email they had somebody on site within 2 days - although I note that is not always the experience of others but I was very impressed.Overall we are extremely pleased we choose SunSeeker doors, but there are areas they need to improve on which they do appear to be aware of.

Top tier craftsmanship and professionalism from the team at Sunseeker. Seemed to have really turned things around under the new management/ownership. I Will certainly use again for my properties, and I cannot advocate their services more.

Last year they serviced my doors. This year I spoke to a boarder line rude, rather abrupt gentlemen. Now they won’t service them because I don’t have the 5 digit Sales Order from 2016. Very odd. Had good services before this. think they’ve changed hands.

Great doors which get a lot of compliments for a good price. We had an issue with the lock failing, but this was swiftly repaired by the company, but only after we chased them. Hopefully this is a sign of the impact of recent managerial changes and if so, then we can certainly recommend them, because the product itself is really good.

We had 3 sets of the SunSeeker doors installed about 5 years ago.The company is small and doesn't have many staff in the office, but the process was fairly smooth. I did go to their factory to check them out, and they clearly have low overheads(!)The doors are very good so far. The slim lines are fantastic and the mechanism is inherently very simple so there isn't that much to go wrong, and would be simple to fix if it did.Opening and closing is slightly more effort than a conventional sliding system, and you do have to open each panel individually, but on balance, the flexibility, security and lack of big bars means I definitely recommend them. Some other points:They do swell a bit in the heat which occasionally makes them a bit sticky, but nothing major. They are quite sensitive to the position of the rollers top-and-bottom, if they get out of alignment, the doors will jam a bit. Easy to fix but annoying.Closing the single door with a handle is a bit fiddly (you have to make sure it is flush before closing) but once you get used to it, it is fine. The price I paid was good - less than the other slide-and-fold systems. Not quite a 5 star product, but I am happy with them.
