The Driving Academy

I’ve been having lessons with Rachel after a long break from driving and she made me feel instantly comfortable, especially with me learning how to use a hand brake after being in a car without one. Over the weeks, I’ve just been getting more and more confident in my driving thanks to Rachel, who’s a phenomenal driving instructor and an even better person who I can always have great chats with and who seems interested in both my life and my driving process. She is very accommodating around me moving to uni, and even takes me on lessons on her days off. Thank you, Rachel, for being the best instructor ever, I’d recommend her to anyone !!

FIRST TIME PASSNicky was a great teacher throughout my driving lessons and used her vast driving knowledge to turn me into a safe and confident driver , allowing me to pass my test first time .She also took me on the motorway , which has definitely made motorways less daunting as a new driver .Would definitely recommend

I have had around a months worths of lessons so far and I have to say that I’m really glad I chose to go with the driving academy. Having had previous driving lessons elsewhere before, my experience with my current driving instructor Rachel souware has stood out to me with how patient and informative she has been. I have previously tried to upload a review however it seems to have been removed or blocked by Google strangely. I would recommend this to anyone who would like to learn on their own pace and build a valuable knowledge base.

Brilliant driving instructor, 1st time pass with Zero driving faults !!Nicky was excellent in fitting me in around Uni and part time jobs. When I first started, I had a minimal driving experience and Nicky's lessons were adapted to fill in my missing knowledge. As each lesson went by my confidence grew. Nicky goes the extra mile by delivering 'The Honest Truth About Safer Driving' (Road Safety Education) which helps you to become a safer driver.Nicky doesn't just teach you to pass the driving test, she teaches you to manage a wide variety of driving environments this included driving to Leeds, parking in a busy car parks and a motorway lesson, so you are able to confidently drive and cope in different situations once you have passed.Thanks to Nicky I am enjoying the freedom of independent driving.

After struggling with anxiety for much of my life, learning to drive was such a daunting prospect but from my very first lesson my instructor Dave was friendly, patient and reassuring. This enabled me to quickly and effectively develop my driving skills and confidence to achieve a first time pass with only 2 minors!Thankyou so much to Dave and The Driving Academy for a friendly, relaxed and (surprisingly!) enjoyable driving experience ☺️

First time pass!!!Nicky was the most wonderful and kind lady who made learning to drive for me a very fun experience!Nicky was very organised and always found the time to fit in lessons amongst my busy schedule.Throughout learning Nicky was very patient and made me feel calm and relaxed! I feel as if I have gained great experience due to the range she taught me throughout all my lessons and being able to have a motorway lesson developed my confidence.I couldn’t recommend Nicky and The Driving Academy enough as your way of learning to drive!!!

FIRST TIME PASS!!Dave is a great instructor and teacher! From lesson one he's helped with my understanding and knowledge of driving, which has, in turn, helped with confidence. Each lesson has a different focus, which gives time to master each element of driving before bringing it all together to be test ready. I highly recommend Dave as he's patient, friendly and always helpful.

Driving isn’t something that came naturally to me but Nicky was patient, listened to me, and motivated me to be the best driver I could be for my test.I always felt as though my anxieties were reassured, which ultimately helped me achieve a first time pass under Nicky’s teaching.Nicky’s personable and positive attitude helped reduce my stress levels that driving naturally brought me. I couldn’t recommend Nicky and The Driving Academy more!

1st Time Pass!!Nicky was a great instructor who provided me with regular lessons to fit around my schedule. She helped to safely build my confidence and reflect on my driving in a more positive mindset. Also providing a motorway and city session which really helped prior to my test. With me and my 2 siblings all achieving 1st time passes under Nickys guidance!Over the moon :)
