Yesterday I was looking for a hairdresser to cut the hair of a gentleman, with Alzheimers, from the local care home. Despite not having a booking they were so very kind and managed to slot us in. Nothing was too much trouble. A really lovely experience, thank you.

I was so happy and impressed with Millie's beautiful work doing my very unusual request for a 60's style beehive French roll updo with my very long hair. With the added challenge for it to stay in tact overnight for Goodwood Revival the following day, it was a big ask. But Millie achieved it perfectly! She has real talent, gifted hands, a great can do positive attitude and a lovely caring approach. Thank you Millie, you made my day wonderful.

I’ve been going to Carl Hillwood for 2 years and quite simply they are amazing. My hair has never looked so good and all the girls and Carl are so talented. They are always so friendly and they make you feel very welcome. I would highly recommend this great Salon.

I found this beautiful salon by chance one day and I am so happy I did. You are made to feel so welcome all the staff are full of expertise and love to share in each other’s knowledge. It might sound crazy but I get so excited when it’s my appointment as it feels like you are seeing friends and I leave feeling really happy. I feel they will never just agree in the sense they want you to spend money unnecessarily , what they truly want is for you to love your hair and be happy and confident with your stylist. Meg,Millie to name but a few they are all equally Fab. X

I have been a client of Carl Hillwood for over 20 years now, and cannot imagine going anywhere else. Carl is an incredible hairdresser, who really takes the time to get to know you and your hair. I have never trusted anyone like I trust Carl, to always know what style I want and need more than I do myself - he is one in a million.Carl is clearly an awesome boss - his warm, loving and caring character shows through his staff, which creates a wonderful, friendly atmosphere throughout the salon. All the staff are so lovely.I'd like to thank Carl and all of his beautiful staff for being so consistently kind, thoughtful and helpful ... people often comment on how lovely my hair looks, and I'm always proud to recommend Carl, and to say that my hairdresser is the very best, and that I wouldn't trust anyone else with cutting my hair.

Carl Hillwood were fantastic today squeezing me in for a cut and blow dry. Difficult to get appointment times around two children and breastfeeding but they offered me a great slot. Always greeted very warmly when I arrive and had a delicious decaf coffee with oat milk as well as my water during the appointment. Fantastic service and love the cut for my long hair and fringe!
