The Runnymede Hospital
I had a minor procedure yesterday and was very pleased with the care I received. From the friendliness of the receptionist, to the person who escorted me to my room, the gentleman who served my food, and especially the nurses (particular thanks to my nurse for the day, she anticipated my needs beautifully, and provided accurate information when required). The theatre staff were efficient, and chatty when I needed it. Many thanks to you all!(From an NHS employee of 40 years)

Attentive, genuine, quality care. I felt they went the extra mile, always. The hospital is spottlessly clean. Every member of staff is genuine and caring, the ladies on Reception; the porters; theatre staff; nurses; consultants; healthcare assistants; the cleaning staff - literally everyone I came across was kind and respectful and went the extra mile. I wouldn’t hesitate to choose this hospital again, if needed and can recommend it.

Crista was absolutely amazing during my pre-op. No ask was too much, and she really made me feel safe and cared for. I’d highly recommend Runnymede to anyone based on my experience with her and the other staff.

I had a pre op assessment with Christina (Crista) she was very thorough and calming. I was very nervous but she helped me keep calm and explained everything simply. Thank you very much couldn’t have asked for a better service.Wish there was more car parking or better regulated car parking as that was really hard but the service received was excellent

I had a male nurse to do personal hygiene on the first day and I feel I should have been asked if that was ok. For me I would already want a female carer. It upset me that I had a male nurse and strongly feel this should be a question that is asked prior to surgeryApart from that the staff were fantastic and made me feel very comfortable

This is a nice but fairly typical small private hospital. The reception and nursing staff are friendly and efficient. There are various specialists.Located right next door to St Peter’s Hospital it’s a good location for surgery with one of the largest A&E depts in the area close-by.The car park is small but I’ve never had any issues finding a space.

The Runnymede outpatient nursing staff have been outstanding with their care of my husband's post surgery wound. Their advice and help have been invaluable. A special thank you to Raquel and Filipa whose friendly smiles, professionalism and compassion helped make a difficult situation (almost) enjoyable.

I had physio with Matt here at the Runnymede and I went from thinking my normal life and simple pleasures I once took for granted were never going to be the same but with the help of Matt I’m now back feeling happy and strong again and it is the best feeling words can’t describe. He has helped me all the way along my journey after 2 big knee operations fixing my 3 torn ligaments and meniscus repair. I would certainly recommend Matt to anyone for anything physio related, it’s crazy the amount of knowledge and understanding he has and delivers it perfectly. Will miss having him to push me!

All the Staff, Nurses, & Surgeon was Polite, Friendly & very helpful. They explained everything about my Procedure. From my Admission to Discharge i was treated with Kindness & Respect. My Room was Clean & Comfortable as well.

I felt every member of staff that attended to me were so lovely, taking time and care to explain thinking without rushing. Sue who was one of the nursing team was exceptional, kind and caring and I enjoyed our chats. The young doctor I forget his name but he was from Romania was extremely nice and came across very caring.
