Not the best pubs but ok for a quick drink in-between other pubs. People are friendly and staff are good just prefer other pubs in Dumfries

Daytime experience.Mandy is a lovely lady who takes time for all of her customers.The pub is Exceptionally clean, toilet facilities immaculate.A Very warm welcome.

Very nice and bright,Toilets and tables spotless.Cheap drink and good selection of all types. Barman pleasant and nibbles on all tables and bar. 5 televisions in bar.Very impressed as first time in since alterations were completed.

We were on holiday in the area and came across Dickies as we wondered through Dumfries. What was very apparent was the warm welcome, Julie and her team were so lovely, a great Scottish welcome that’s for sure.

Me and my mates were doing a Scottish tour and called into Dumfries on our way North. We came across Dickies bar, and what a great find. Very friendly bar staff, Julie the owner helped us and gave us some pointers for the rest of our tour! Thanks Julie! Overall a great pub with plenty of banter and atmosphere.
