Lovely little place. We didn't pre book to visit. We turned up and was able to pay on arrival. Interesting types of butterflies. Very hot inside the butterfly containment. Smaller than i thought.Lots of different types of butterfly. There is a bench inside and lots of benches outside. You are able to go in and out have something to eat or a breather and go back around. It was abit sad seeing so many dead butterflies that hadnt been removed. They sell some cold cans of drink and ice cream . There is also a farm cafe but was closed for refurbishment when we went

Lovely place for kids to see Butterflies closely. But there should be some supervision as some of the kids were handling them very ruff way. Otherwise very nice. The education place next door where you can see other insects and learn about them was very interesting. Our kids enjoyed it very much.

Such a lovely, beautiful experience! It does seem small at first, but you could get totally lost in time and spend hours sitting quietly amongst the butterflies going about their business. Lovely little farm shop included in the visit where you can buy fresh produce, snacks and drinks. I'm definitely going again with little nieces and nephews.

Worth a visit. Not cheap, but get there for the start of the day and you’ll be amazed by the colours and shapes of the butterflies. You won’t do it justice with photos - there are tons of butterflies. Kids love it - ours did.Little attached gift shop has some reasonable butterfly-related memorabilia, including framed butterflies. Brought a run of 5.

Beautiful butterflies, had a lovely visit.Small and basic but our 3yr old loved all the butterflies and then got to hold some stick insects etc in the second tent. The cake from the tea rooms was also lovely.

Well worth taking the journey! Hundreds of beautiful butterflies and the staff, especially Poppy, was informative and full of information about the process of being a caterpillar to them becoming the fluttering creatures we all know and love.Be careful where you step in the tunnel as they like taking residency everywhere and remember it’s very warm in there.P.S moths are amazing, give them some love!

We had an incredible, interesting and very educational visit here. The atmosphere is lovely and the butterfly tent is so well maintained. It has lots of pretty and interesting butterflies to see that aren’t shy to land on you and say hello. The plants are also very lovely to look at as well as a pond with some fish. It’s definitely a lot of fun for adults and children with many butterflies to look out for. The gift shop has a nice range of things for people of any age and I didn’t leave empty handed. We also got to see the release of some of the young butterflies which was such a cool experience to watch. I can’t recommend this place enough and many thanks to Daniel who was so kind and helpful! We will definitely be back again!

I visited here with my friend and i loved it ! The staff here are lovely and so welcoming. One of the staff zara, was very knowledgeable and made everyone feel very included and was very keen getting people involved with the insects. You can tell she is very passionate about what she does and this helps to create a lovely atmosphere. I will definitely be visiting again
