Travelling to Scotland and staying halfway in Appleby. Found this lovely little restaurant by chance.Homely and welcoming unpretentious little Italian restaurant serving a good selection of pastas, pizzas and grills.Shared a delicious Fritto Misto to start with I had a lovely lasagne and my wife enjoyed a superb Putenesca. Really good Primitivo house wine reasonably priced by the glass and superb freshly ground Espresso to finishOn entering we noticed just on waitress on, but this amazing petite waitress moved unobtrusively at the speed of light, smiling all the time and placing everything with an air of precision on the table. What a star.So cosy welcoming restaurant with really good food, choice, wine, coffee and excellent service

When food fills you with joy whenever you take another bite, then you know you've struck gold! It is by far the best authentic Italian food I've had in a long time. Kudos to the chef!Staff are incredibly friendly, portion sizes are impeccable and you can honestly tell that the chef loves making these amazing pieces of culinary delights!

Nice Italian restaurant. Went after 8pm for dinner as we weren't sure they closes dine in service at 8pm. They kindly offered pizza to take away after 8 pm. Tasty and delicious.

Came to Appleby Manor for our honeymoon decided to go out for dinner and found this little gem. Fantastic food and very filling left very satisfied, happy and sleepy Will definitely be visiting again on our next stay

Rang on off chance for a takeaway. Very helpful. Takeaway ready at the time ordered for and the meal was very good.

Enjoyable lunch today. Friendly service and great food. My wife had a selection of tapas an I had salmon and prawn pasta with white wine sauce followed by strawberry cheesecake. We hope to return...

Was quiet when we went in as early. Staff lovely. Food fantastic. Usual bottled beers. Was a touch cold, probably as only us there.

The best Italian food!Me and my group of friends recently visited recently and were blown away by the food. Great quality food and wine at such reasonable price.The staff were amazing.We don’t live local but would recommend to anyone and would definitely make the trip again.
