Scrupulously honest about what my child needed, she intervened and gave me very valuable feedback so that I can continue supporting her and return to Kat if needed in the future. If you are in search of a qualified, experienced Speach and Language Therapist, Kat is absolutely the perfect person to go to. Professional, approachable and natural with children. My daughter Amelie was immediately comfortable and relaxed in her company and quickly looked forward to her sessions. Amelie is engaged throughout and the sessions are fun and exciting for her so she never feels frustrated or exhausted by them. We are given great advice to take away with us that enable us to help Amelie at home as well, so she is making amazing progress with our help as well as in her sessions. Kat is reliable, warm, friendly and has a real passion for her job. We are delighted with Amelie's improvement and very apparent increase in confidence. If you are looking for a competent, reliable and knowledgeable Speech and Language Therapist, Kat is the therapist you should be looking for. Kat worked with Adam in the past 5 months and they really had a wonderful bond, it was amazing to my little boy who was struggling to engage with adults and have joint attention to developing those skills with no stress. Kat has a wonderful way in engaging with Adam and she has a real passion for her job. She had no problem in getting down to Adam’s level on the floor, playing games with him and making sure Adam was engaged. When Kat would sense Adam was losing interest, he didn’t force the issue, instead focussed on something else and then came back to the original task. As a parent I felt included in the process and was given the tools to enable me to help my child practice what he had been shown in the sessions and we all really enjoyed the experience. Kat explained things to me regarding Adam’s development, in an easy to understand manner. Kat gave me great techniques and lots of support for helping Adam while at home. We would and do highly recommend Kat to anyone needing help with their children.

We moved to Cambridge with our 2 year old son who had been diagnosed in the USA with speech delays, communication delays and flags for potential autism. We found Kat after researching for local speech therapists and I am so delighted that we found someone as skilled and knowledgeable as her!Kat started working with us once a week and our son has gone from barely speaking one word and very few social gestures to now speaking two (and occasionally even 3!) words together. Kat takes the time to not only be with the child during that session, but give you as a parent tools and tricks to implement during the following week - enabling us to continue his 'therapy' even when she is not around.Our son would run to the door when he knew that 'teacher Kat' had arrived - he has become very attached to her, a tribute to how well she interacts with children.I would highly recommend Kat to anyone looking for help with their childrens communication.
