Portishead Beach
Perfect for dog walks. The beach is an estuary beach and so you don’t really get sand, much more mud and rocky beach backed by some grass and salt marsh, adjacent to the beach is a 100-year-old artificial lake and a small park. On a clear day, you get some good views over to the south Wales coast. There's a car park and restrooms available for use. Plenty of benches to seat on

Great place to take the kids. Free parking. Loads to do pedal around the pond in a flamingo! Trampolines for the kids, feed the ducks, a big play park and skate park. Wander along the front and try the out door gym equipment. There's also a Lido (Something we may try next time!)You could fill a whole day here. The cafe was very good for lunch and reasonably priced.

Great place to walk. Convenient and large parking. There is great entertainment for children. I like it. Recommend!

Not much of a beach, more mud. However, lovely views. And a great spot to watch all the big ships going up and down. Also, a lovely lighthouse. Boating lake next to beach with lots of things to do.

No real beach to speak of. Parked by edge of marshy area leading to mud. Looked like a good playground for kids opposite.

Beautiful watching the sunset from there. Feels so tranquil and peaceful. There is a lake and a kids playground across from it and a lido (but we didnt go there as it was closed)

The beach isn't really people territory, there is a walk but much of it is soft muddy grassland, perfect for dogs and birdwatching. However there is a fabulous park across the road with masses of amenities for children in the play area and skate park. Fish and chips, cafe, very pretty lake with water fowl and public loo which costs 20p.

Great for walking only not suitable for swimming or even for a picnic...There is dangerous mud so not suitable for kids as well you gotta be careful...

Lovely place to come without the busy crowds, perfect for dog walks and alone time, there are some bits to entertain kids but mainly just a nice walking and viewing spot

Pleasant enough area to visit for open air walks and shops. Beach a disappointment. Pub is not far from marina.
