its been 2 weeks since i went here and i have calmed down a lot.every thing was fine but the haircut was not what i was after .at the time i was trying to grow my hair long and it was down to my chin. it needed thinning out a bit and also the sides trimming up a bit as it was a bit wild from lock down.but it ended up being a standard mens short back and sides.if thast all you want, you should be fine. but if you have an idea in your head of what you want doing [ i did show a photo even] .forget it

Just had my four year old son's cut here. Corey was excellent and made him feel relaxed despite the Corona ppe which may have been scary for such a young child. Lovely hair cut which he really took time over.

Proper barbers. Go in, sit down, wait your turn, get a trim (in silence if it's grumpy beard man, or, with a chat if it's happy goatee man - either way both are excellent), say thank you, pay, leave.Very efficient.

I had been cutting my own hair since the start of lockdown in 2020. Decided to have a proper cut at Hallgate Barbers. Dave is an experienced & friendly barber who cut my hair very well. Treated as a valued customer. Will be back.

Avoid.Miserable atmosphere. Dirty, hair-filled floor. The woman didn't understand what a taper is. Clearly rushed to get me out of the door, cut was done in under 7minutes. Botched my hair to the point where i cant fix it at another barbers without just shaving bold. Absolutely devastaded. Also overcharged me for £12 even tho they supposed to charge £9 Mon to Thu. Save yourself the disappointment and go elsewhere.

Sub standard hair cut but are cheap so wasn't to bothered but, my husband and my son are ignored and snubbed everyone they go in. They try talking and asking how the staff are and are lucky to get a one word answer if any answer at all and never have they had any eye contact or the words thank you" either. RUDE
