I attended a memorial service here today which was very emotional of course.The staff were very respectful, professional and went out of their way to meet the needs of the attendees.The finger food buffet had a grwat selection of veg and no-veg foods, and the ones I sampled were delicious.b

Shame about the attitude of members that seem to think they are owed parking space on a public road, at the expense of the safety of vulnerable road users. Creating a petition to have the spaces for people measures removed just to satisfy your own needs is selfish, arrogant, and speaks to the type of environment you must have at your club.

Food was really good and clubhouse is lovely. Golf course was in great condition with greens and fairways well maintained and running true. Some interesting holes but not an overly difficult course. It is quite a walk though with a lot of up and down hill walking but well worth playing.

This golf club is petitioning to remove the cycle lane outside so that they can use it as an overflow car park.That cycle lane allows children to cycle safely to and from school and contributes to fighting climate change.It is shameful that the selfish entitled members of this club think their convenience is more important than children's safety.

What a surprise I had on the lush green fairways at Kingsknowe. A real test of your long game on some par 4 holes, great views of Edinburgh and the bridges and very true greens, the whole place is very well looked after.Excellent menu in the modernised interior of the grand Old Clubhouse and an open view of the course after our endeavour on the greens.I'll definitely back with a crowd some time soon.

Gives you a huge variety of shots, and makes the membership worth it. Food and services are top quality too - definitely not disappointed. Only problem would be that kids seem to find a way on to the golf course and that can cause distractions and is quite annoying, so if the fences could be fixed to prevent kids from going through them, that would be perfect.

I have been following the petition about members parking on the road which is now a cycle lane.Roads are for the free movement of cars buses lorries bikes etc. NOT a divine right of a few golf players.Yiu have enough land so use that. If a golfer can walk a course he can walk from his car in a car park. If he cannot use a buggy.I am not against people or organisations wishing for a particular outcome but this clubs committee is arrogant and I hope they do not change a great cycle and road users safety scheme

Had a meal with members of club. Its a lovely setting, nice decor & good atmosphere. Menu is simple with good food. Not expensive, excellent service, staff very friendly & efficient. Had a nice relaxing afternoon!
